Holy smokes, this episode was FUN! The animation, the tension, the overall HEAT of the episode kicks up a notch as we conclude the third matchup between Class 1A and Class 1B! Shoto, Iida, and TetsuTetsu are standouts of course in this match, but don't underestimate muh gal, Pony, y'all! ^^
There's so much to talk about this episode, and I can't wait to discuss with you all!

I do, too! Pony is SO sweet! I absolutely loved her in this episode -- she's the Class 1B MVP, Vlad! :P And I agree 100% -- TetsuTetsu on the surface seems like the discount Kirishima when he was first introduced, but NOT so in this episode -- I love the little anime only moments in that they added to the episode a LOT; especially with Class 1B. I feel that was cool they had the time to add that with also keeping the pace well, too! This episode was definitely a MEAL! I haven't re-read the manga for Bakugo's match, but that would make COMPLETE sense if they did it all in one episode, and that would leave the last three episodes of the first cour for Deku vs Shinso. Good call; let's see if they do that next week! ^^ Thanks for the comment!

2021-05-15 23:06:27 +0000 UTCI think they did a really good job with Pony's accent. Props to the voice actress for so maintaining the "American accent" with so many lines! And they did justice to what I was looking forward to - Tetsutetsu. Not one of my favorite characters, but he had been left so far in the dust as "Budget Kirishima" that his epic scene in the manga really mad me happy. There are a few things they added that are really good, like actually showing how Tetsutetsu trained for heat and having Honenuki be more dynamic in the nurses office scene (in the manga he was just sitting there, and we only saw his face in one panel). Not to mention the Todoroki and Iida animation... excellent! I feel like I just ate a good meal. Now to save room for Bakugo cleaning house in one episode for dessert, and then we should have three episodes for the final match!

Bakugo is a "hot head" and can have an ugly personality at times, but he is SMART, and knows how to use strategy -- I'm really excited to see that playout next episode as well! And yeeeessss, I've missed our Shouto, too! Class 1B really shined in this episode, even though Iida, Shouto, Ojiro, and Shoji did great things...I wish they were in the manga more, too! Maybe in the future, eh? Yes...best episode this season...until we next week, indeed! :D :D

Because of his immense power and attitude, those around him and even the viewers of the show often forget how intelligent Bakugo is and I canโt wait for him to, hopefully, show it! And finally we get more Shouto screen time. I missed him! ๐ญ๐ Though I got to admit that Honenuki and Tetsutetsu were BRILLIANT in this episode. Class B has so many interesting characters and it kinda frustrates me that they are not shown as much. Best episode so far this season...at least until next week ๐๐ฅ
