What a fantastic season finale! We get introduced to The Guild via Fitzgerald, Lucy, and the would-be assassin! Lucy may seem creepy with her ability, but you know who's REALLY creepy? This "friendly neighborhood physician" who's just "keeping a small group of people in line." @__@
Seriously, this season finale has me SO EXCITED for Season Two, y'all! I can't wait!

I like that we have a lot of characters that have gone though similar situations as Atsushi but they're all different and have a different view of things. Mori can be really terrifying. But he's an interesting character. And Elise is so creepy. Tanizaki's ability suprises me all the time. I never really expect him to use it at the moments he does. Next season the good part begins. Mori is on my list of characters I'm SUPER intrigued about in this show -- I guessed Kyouka has ran into Mori in the past, which is why she reacted to scarily to him. @_@ I definitely don't want to be spoiled, but the fact that we might get crumbs on these two (Mori and Elise) is enough for me!! And yes, Atsushi just strolling up and networking with ALL THE ORPHANS. Checks out. ;)

2021-05-30 17:08:48 +0000 UTCGod I loved Mori's reveal. And the scene at the end, where even prideful Chuuya doesn't think twice before showing his utmost loyalty. I think many people wouldn't remember Elise fast, not in these circumstances. But that's my favorite part in any reaction, watching them putting things together, realising, reacting emotionally. Lucy is definitely another foil for Atsushi, another means to look back at himself, his fate and his character power. Although there is so many orphans in this show. I can't remember even one whose parents are mentioned. Elise's strangeness... will be somewhat explained later in season 4 probably? Mori's story is so freakingly blank in the manga still but some things, some things! Take a wild guess, who else at the Agency could have crossed paths with Mori in the past, aside from Dazai?

When Atsushi gets captured and the door opens, in that second with the door open, Tanizaki used his ability to create a fake door closing and not showing the fact that Atsushi was holding on to the frame of the real door.

I can’t wait to see what you think about it! And yes, Dazai is a man of many trick up his sleeves, you can never truly trust he’s being 100% sincere.
