2021-06-08 15:24:28 +0000 UTCA few weeks ago I started to catch up with your reaction and it was actually my first time watching the donghua. It was awesome. There will be more of Meng Yao in the Untamed and I guess in the next season of the donghua too. What I personally don't like that much in the donghua is that we didn't really get that much into the side characters and their personalities. At least I feel like it doesn't. Oh my...I am DEFINITELY curious to learn more about that in the novel! @.@ Uhm, yes, maybe considering WangXian a "switch" pair is better? :P I couldn't help bring it up after that last episode. There’ll be more of his traumatic backstory in the Untamed and in the third season of the donghua as well, so you’ll understand the meaning behind it all. Though I must add that, from my personal opinion, Meng Yao is much more lowborn, than Mo Xuanyu — in terms of origins. If we compare their social statuses, Mo Xuanyu’s mother was at least a daughter of some clan leader, whereas Meng Yao’s mother… :( The novel will expand more on this subject, so be prepared for some tough material. I laughed so hard at your comment about top and bottom. Wangji is clearly a service top (or power bottom) in this relationships, and you’ll see more proof of it in the future episodes and in the book itself. The chibi-donghua team did a very good job at showing us how dear A-Yuan was to both Wangji and Wuxian. I’m so glad they managed to put the concept of “parents!wangxian” into the official adaptation.
