I was a little nervous going back into the events of the present after that AMAZING Dark Age arc, but this show is proving I had no need to fear!

Holy smokes, we are hitting the ground running and there are Guild members that are SO intriguing *nervous chuckle* and a three-way war underway! I am HYPED!

Thank you for watching with me and for the support!

Bungo Stray Dogs Season 2: Episode 5 FULL LENGTH Reaction!

Comments

I miss the Cornetto ads so much! Yeah, this episode had SO MUCH going on in it! Hhmmm, that's very interesting -- I'm curious to know which show; if it wins, we'll have to talk about it! :D And yes, I appreciate that Kouyou cares for Kyouka, but it's not guided in the right direction and it's just doing more harm than good. :/ I really like Mori, too; he's SUCH a fun antagonist and threatening....buy yeah, Elise is a demon spawn and their relationship gives me shivers. @_@ I'm SO excited to see how this war with the Guild goes down! It's going to make for an interesting rest of the season! Thanks for the kind words and have a wonderful day, too!

I'm really fascinated by Kouyou, and I'm excited to see how she plays a part in this story! :) And yesssss, the Golden Demon and Demon Snow connection -- I'm curious to see what we get from that this season and next season. I'm already creeped out by both of them -- I've watched an episode or two ahead *nervous laugh* so I get now that Steinbeck isn't teleportation...that certainly would have been less creepy, though! @_@ And yessss, the parallels with Dazai and Mori continue! And I WISH I could have a Cornetto! *tears up*

Not the cornetto. XD But how much I miss these ads. I forgot how intense this episode is. Kyoukas and Kouyous relationship reminds me a lot of two characters from another show (which I won't name since it's a show that is in the polls)  where Kouyou is like a extreme helicopter mother. She thinks she protects Kyouka for her sake because she had a similar situation where she just got hurt. But it actually is something that breaks Kyouka even more. Mori and especially Elise still freak me out. But I really like Mori as a character. I'm so excited for you to meet the Guild members. They're so interesting. Wish you a wonderful day!!

Oh, they still didn't fix that little error. Lady's name is Ozaki Kouyou (read as Koyo; OU is just used to denotate long O as I'm pretty sure you already knew), that's the moment where you can research her and Kyouka together since they are closely linked. She's really something in this story! A very important figure to many in the Mafia. The notion of Kyouka's Snow Demon killing her parents, now, that's interesting! I'll wait until you read some late manga chapters to discuss that. Lovecraft and Steinbeck, huhuhu! Just you wait, it's gonna be AMAZING very soon. Rosinante is a nod to Don Quixote ofc! I'm in love with Lovecraft's stories, and I've also done Grapes of Wrath, but not the Great Gatsby, that's unbearable for me. As for transporting people... nah, that's not Steinbeck ;D Also, Mori's shameless flirting in form of attempted assasination. Dazai has a bit to look up to him on this front, luckily. Have a Cornetto, indeed! Those ads make me crave Cornetto each time I encounter it. Sadly we have the most tame flavors only.

Yesssss, the Port Mafia has INSTANTLY become more intimidating in this season -- it's not Team Rocket shenanigans anymore! @_@ The Guild is certainly the antagonists of this season and they waltz in all "MURICA" style, being flashy and over-the-top! At least Fitzgerald is a definite representation of that, but Lovecraft already freaks me out! Yessss, Mori's relationship with Elise is....odd. It's just...unsettling, and he's so calm nearly all the time, that it makes him creepier. And yes, history is repeating itself! I just hope we don't have someone repeating the role of Oda! T_T And yessss, now that we've seen Dazai's past to this extent, it's SO much more obvious that Dazai has not changed...he's just keeping with that morally gray area, and trying to work for the side saving people. But still...it makes me nervous, as does this ending! I cannot WAIT for the next episodes! And no worries -- I write novel-length comments, so you're good! :D :D Never feel bad about it!

I had forgotten how good this anime gets once the PM executives & the boss get involved. In S1, the DA handled the PM fairly easily. BUT that was when the “muscle” was in charge of the attacks…now that Chuuya, Koyou AND, of course, Mori get involved, just from this first episode, you can feel how much dangerous & foreboding just these three people make the PM feel. Add to that the menacing Guild members and you get the perfect intro to a three way war! And they do such a great job of introducing The Guild. They certainly look like a force to be reckon with. Mori’s relationship with Elise is so creepy and pedophilic to me. It’s the main reason why Mori freaks the hell out of me. And yes! You are right! I had never thought about how the Dark Age arc parallels with this one. In both arcs, 3 organizations are in war with each other and Mori’s strategy is to get others to do the dirty work. And of course, now that we have seen how dark Dazai can really get, the darkness is a lot more obvious in the present time. He is definitively a character that likes to travel within grey areas. He is still willing to do everything he did while in the PM, he just now does so for the side that saves people. And that ending! Dazai: Everything will work out as long as our secret base is not discovered Mori and Chuuya: So here’s the secret base Me: AHHHH! 😱😱 Next episodes are SO GOOD. OMG I can’t wait. ps. I swear I am trying not too write such long essays on each video 🙈😅
