Y'all...this is my favorite episode of the series so far! The match between Arashi's team and Maki/Toma was EPIC, with unexpected twists -- but the biggest surprise? The "get together" afterwards and who shows up!

This episode took so many things I thought would happen and turned it on its head in the BEST way. I loved this episode!

Thank you for watching with me and for all the support!

Yeah, I've always kind of been like Toma in big groups, but I think adults feel a bigger sense of peer pressure with socialization than we do as kids, and I'm not sure why or where it comes from...hmm... And YES! This show is so great about subtle conversations and payoffs -- the trust Itsuki places in all of them, particularly Maki, in the changing room was really great. And I agree -- Mitsue is slowly growing more comfortable around them as a character, but it's not something that's dramatic or character-altering; the comparison to Free! is great! ^^ I really like that Arashi and Maki are from totally different backgrounds, but are able to completely get along with one another like it's no thing. :) And this show really touching on issues that most shows (western or Japanese) don't is one of the reasons I really am liking it! Thank you so much for the kind words and I hope you have a great day, too!

"I'm bad at being around people getting along and having fun." This is the most relatable sentence for me. When I was younger I had no problems with that at all and I'm not sure when and how it started. XD The scene where they change clothes was fantastic. They didn't talk much but it made it so good. Itsuki's trust and how Maki doesn't say anything about it. Just wonderful. I haven't really thought about 'Maki giving away the control' the way you described it but yes. It's something he isn't really used to. Yu's and Mitsue's hats they wore at the barbeque were adorable. I also really like the change with Mitsue, it's subtile but you can see it and it won't change how she is completely. Which reminds me of the character developments in free. They won't just become a different person. The Maki/Arashi parallels are wonderful. Not only are they opposites when it comes to how they're on and of the court but also Arashi is rich while Maki doesn't have much money. Arashi is really passionate about soft tennis so I really like how they showed us how arrogant Arashi is first but just a normal boy when he isn't on court. I guess because in japan they don't really talk about mental illnesses etc. shows rarely do that too and that's what I really like about Hoshiai no sora. They're not afraid to show us the cold reality and the traume kids can get from that. It talks about a lot of different problems and I've seen people say it's unrealistic how almost every character has something big going on but I think that's how it is in real life too. Everybody has something they have problems with, some bigger and some smaller. Wish you a wonderful day!!

YES! It's refreshing to see this anime handle uncomfortable conversations in such a natural and genuine way, without being overdramatic! I really love it!

This show touches on so many subjects that are usually too uncomfortable for anime to spotlight, it's great.
