Violet Evergarden: Episode 12 FULL LENGTH Reaction!
Added 2021-10-19 15:01:02 +0000 UTCI've wanted Violet and Diethard to talk again ever since he popped back up in Episode 5, and we FINALLY get them being forced to work together for the common good -- and what a showdown this penultimate episode of the season has turned out to be!
This is one of my favorite episodes of the series -- the action, but build, the character development of Violet in the face of a man that has been so cruel to her...and yet, they share a commonality: Their love of Gilbert.

Ahhhh *shakes fist* Netflixxxxxx!!! Hahaha, I'll make a point to try and get it right in the movies (since I've recorded Episode 13 already). And YES, Violet's determination to NOT kill in this episode......only to have Dietfried/Diethard to it for her. Dude. Hahahaha

Thought I posted this but syke I didnt so this is up what like 2 days late? Violet determined not to kill anyone and even dragging the men back onto the train. Ahhh. And then tall, dark hair, and handsome comes to the fight and just yeets people off the train lmao

2021-10-19 23:10:55 +0000 UTCRegarding Diethard's name, I have no idea why Netflix decided to render it like that. It has always been Dietfried. In Japanese it's ディートフリート (Dītofurīto). The Netflix sub as a whole is not my favorite. If you ever rewatch the series, I would suggest finding a version with the BluRay subtitles. Some of the lines are so much more concise and impactful. On another note, another great discussion, though it's sad there's only three more to go. I have really appreciated them, though in a peculiar way. I've had sleeping difficulties since recovering from a bad case of COVID some months ago, but I found that putting your discussions on in the background puts me at ease and helps me fall asleep. At this point, I can basically recite your discussions for the first couple of episodes! As for what direction the movies may take after the series... a sixty year time skip may or may not be involved in one of them, hehe.
