Yona and Hak make it back to the Wind Clan, where we discover just how much Hak has changed since he left to be Yona's bodyguard, and just what lengths he's willing to go to protect her! *swoon*
Also, political talks, Hak's grandfather being badass, Hak's brother being adorable, and looooooots of set up for things that surely won't go wrong with the fire tribe next episode! @_@

I really am excited about the manga, too! :) I'm glad y'all are on board as well! Ahhh, all the voice actors! I didn't realize Iwaizumi's VA also did Mark Twain from BSD...INTERESTING! His character range is all over the place (he does Present Mic in MHA, too), but it's nice to see a strong voice actor cast! Haeng-dae was precious in this episode! Of course, I love the romance, but I agree, the action and mystery gets you really invested in it! And the wind tribe is just so pure! I love that they're this giant found family! Hahahaha, hopefully the story for Soo-Won isn't as tragic as Yao's, but I definitely see the comparisons already! And Tae-jun -- I love how ridiculous his character is! Yeah, it's hard not to swoon over a dedicated person like Hak...but these wind tribe members; Mun-deok almost got me with his compassion in this! Yeah, I agree -- you really get invested quickly! The series doesn't seem like it's going by fast yet, but maybe that's because I'm just getting started. I can't wait to meet the others, though! Thank you and have a great day, too!

2021-10-23 13:03:58 +0000 UTCI'm so down to see your reactions to the manga. This is where it's about to get REALLY good. Haeng-dae is voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto who voiced Nishinoya from Haikyuu. The general of the water tribe is voiced by Akira Ishida who voiced Fyodor from Bungou stray dogs. And I completely forgot about it in the second episode but Kye-sook is voiced by Hiroyuki Yoshino who voiced Iwaizumi from Haikyuu and Mark Twain from bungou stray dogs. I think if Akayona would just have been a romance anime I wouldn't enjoy it that much. But the story is just really good written and the characters too. The wind tribe has my heart. They really give up such a nice big family feeling. And you kinda want to stay there longer. The comparison between Soo-won and Jin guangyao is interesting. No wonder they are both one of my favourite characters. XD 'Because Tae-jun is Tae-jun' is the best and most perfect description for him. XD Hak is definitely someone who would do anything for the people he cares about. If he devotes himself to someone he will not back away. Who doesn't simp for this man? XD When Mun-deok started to cry I almost lost it. You get invested in these characters so quickly. The episodes are going by too fast. Wish you a wonderful day!!
