Yay, right?! Some really good voice actors! I love that Maki/Haruichi's VA voices Falco and I would NOT have recognized Ayumu had you not said that?! Our boy Hinata!! Hahah, that's so crazy; I need to re-watch to hear him -- now I just need Mamoru and Uchida to voice someone and my VA roster will be complete on here! Though, I can't picture a character with Mamoru's personality in here...but we'll see, eh? I can see how the MAPPA art style is more like the manga (which gets me hyped for the manga) and YES! I've wanted the "other side" of the story since Season 1/2, so I am elated we're finally getting it! Thank you for the kind words and have a great day, too!

Welcome to season 4!! XD New characters means new seiyuus. Falco is voiced by Hanae Natsuki who voiced Haruichi in Diamond no ace and Maki in Hoshiai no sora. Gabi is voicey by Sakura Ayane who voiced Aina in Promare and Haruno in Diamond no ace. Colt is voiced by Matsukaze Masaya who voiced Ryoma in Hoshiai no sora. Udo is voiced by Ayumu Murase who voiced Hinata in Haikyuu and Minami in Yuri on ice. I like Mappa's art style more since it is closer to the manga and just looks darker overall. But I agree with you with the titans. Since Mappa is a lot cleaner the titans doesn't look as creepy as in WIT's style. I really like that the season starts and we get to see the perspective of Marley. Now that we know the villains are not what we thought they were. It isn't as simple and we get to see how fucked up this all really is. Wish you a wonderful day!!

I'm soooooooo hyped about this season already! And HAAAAAA **nervously laughs** Ships sinking everywhere, right? RIGHT?! -_- I'm glad I can go back and talk through this all with you; I have a feeling in the discussion I'm going to catch onto a lot of things missed in the initial reaction, and I'm so hyped! I am absolutely in love with the OP/ED, too! They're some of my favorites as well! And yesssss, I'm only to Episode 2 so far (hoping to watch Episode 3 tonight) but I LOVE IT! :)

Finally best boy and best girl have appeared! #GabiGang Great reaction, I think you're going to love the final season. Guess you have a lot of sympathy for the Marleyan army, they lost half their ships in four years and you lost most of yours in three seasons ;) What a wild way to start the season... I don't envy anime-onlies, it's much easier to figure out what exactly is happening when you can take your time to read the two or three lines that explain it. A lot of reactors get really confused. The OP and ED may be my favorites. Both absolutely great songs. Looking forward to Tuesday's episode. Everything is still ahead!

Isayama is a MASTER of setting up the bomb at this point, isn't he?! It's crazy! and thank you for the kind words -- I feel ESPECIALLY with this season, I'm going to need to go frame by frame to get it all down! @_@ I definitely (in hindsight) was REALLY confused in the initial reaction, but going back through it I feel a lot better about the grasp on the story! And yeah, ALL THE SHADES OF GRAY! I do feel awful for these kids, though.... :( It's SO wrong.

The season 4 part 2 op just dropped, and its probably best you don't watch it when you start part 2. I have no idea when it's okay, but im losing my mind over here just listening to it on repeat.

Here we go!! I love this episode so much because a lot if what happens next is established or hinted without being in your face. Always with the subtility Isayama. The post reaction discussion is a delight as always, I just love how you discuss it frame by frame so you don’t miss anything which is surely the best way to understand this complex story. When this aired back in December 2020, a lot of anime only were completely confused with the new characters, not seeing our MCs and the fact that we are in Marley, time skip .. etc . hell even us manga readers were a bit lost initially when this chapter was published!! but you really did a wonderful job and also I love that we see the other perspective, view, side of the story . This is no good vs bad , this is as grey as it gets and as realistic as it could be in real life. And can I just say how heart breaking to see those 12 yrs old warrior candidate brain washed and endoctrinated (especially Gabi). It is so wrong it s not even funny.

I meant VLC! :) I'm ancient-tech-wise, so I probably said DVD player, but the quality is 1080p, and it looks FANTASTIC! I hope that helps! If it were anything under 720, I'd probably try to find a different source, but luckily that's not the case. :)

You said you're watching these episodes on a DVD player? Unless you meant a Blu-ray player you'll only be getting 480p resolution instead of 1080p... I think. Do the episodes look blurrier? You should just watch them on the computer with a good video player like VLC or MPC-BE.

Yesssss, the ages all make sense in this! Luckily, I’ve watched Episode 2 (that’s as far as I’ve gotten at this point), so you putting the last names in here wasn’t a spoiler, but it definitely took me by surprise in Episode 2! @_@ I hadn’t considered the fact that Gabi committed a war crime, but yup, she sure did. Welp…that is genuinely horrifying, especially with how easily she chose to do it. T-T And yessssss, depressed, traumatized, but somehow handsome despite it all…I’m not going to survive these glow ups. I can tell already. @_@ Thank you for the comment!

I can’t believe you are finally here at final season! ‘At the end of all things’. Sincerely hope you don’t get spoiled going forward as there’s soo much to easily spoil about the finale I know exactly what time skip you are talking about that worked really well and I can safely say that Isayama also has done one masterfully ‘My War’ is the new OP which you may recognize the band as the same one that did season 2 ED (also I believe that it’s Isayama’s favourite band also) I think you can somewhat tell the ages but I thought I’d make it clearer (also give some cool VAs that we now have in the cast that you’ll recognize) Colt Grice - 18 - same VA as Illumi from HxH (that one blew my mind) Falco Grice (aka best boi!) - 12 - same VA as Haruichi (ace of diamond) tanjirou (demon slayer) and Hoshiumi (HQ) Gabri Braun - 12 - same VA as Uraraka (MHA) Udo - 12 - same VA as Hinata (HQ) Ryo (devil man crybaby) Zofia - 12 - doesn’t have many credits .. I think they’re pretty new Reiner is 21 and Zeke is now 29. Which means that our 104th would be now 19-21 Also felt I should mention the really MORBID detail that Gabi legit committed a WAR CRIME by impersonating a citizen at 12 years old. Genuinely horrifying. And not something that is ‘heroic’ Lastly… yes indeed REINER IS HOT (traumatized and depressed but hot all the same) Good luck with the rest of the glow ups that you’ll be experiencing! And yes mystery man at the end … hot also 😄
