What starts as a simple mission for Cheng and Lu becomes suddenly a tense mishap that has maybe led to apocalyptical results? I don't like where this is headed...nope. Not at all.
And now we're in the last act? *nervous chuckle* Neat.

In the ending, the first line of the lyric was "the phone that rang twelve seconds was not picked up". Things will kick off from this episode, I wish you luck in successfully interpreting the plot, it gets confusing. Love your reactions too! Excited for next week!

Qiao Ling sent out a message asking if Xu Shanshan went to meet with Dong Yi before his interview. And the two short messages in the end are from Xu Shanshan saying: "Clue received." "My new friend." Not creepy at all. So HYPED for the final arc!

But here we are...I've held off on Ep 9 because I'm nervous, but I need to just bite the bit and watch it, eh? And ahhh, I'm going to have Sasaki and Miyano on the replacement poll for this show, actually! :) Wotakoi will probably be on the replacement poll for Yona, and I'm GOING to fit Chainsaw Man in when it comes out -- I've decided that long ago, since my brother has hyped it up! :) I'd like to have Hell's Paradise on a future poll, too, along with K Project and those other shows! Thank you for the recommendations!

I have been hesitating because I'm straight-up NERVOUS. @_@ Cheng's gung-ho optimism and sense of justice is what has made Lu's hair white; confirmed! Hahaha! And yessss, that ED is SO iconic with this show! I really love that the OP and ED were covers for the Japanese dub...seriously...I don't know how they can top the OP and ED in Season 2 for this show! Wish me luck with Episode 9! *dark laugh*

2022-01-11 21:07:42 +0000 UTCSo, how far have you binged? Have you been able to restrain yourself? A lot went on in this episode, Cheng being Cheng causing problems even without him meaning too. Lu just trying to rein him in when he can. Our little gremlin causing problems and stress for Lu. The Ed is so Iconic, that I can't imagine another song kicking in at the end to signal that this are about to get crazy. Glad the Japanese Producers decided to go with just covering the OP and ED, unlike they did for MDZS and HOB. Will miss the ED for season2, not sure how they'll top season 1.

2022-01-11 19:41:43 +0000 UTCLu can hear everything that's happening around Cheng when he is in someone else's body, that's why he could listen to what Dong Yi said while Cheng was immersed in his thoughts of mama's boy being the blonde serial killer. After ep 2 this show is just cliffhanger after cliffhanger. I can't imagine having to wait a week haha Can't wait for the next reactions Oh, btw are you planning on reacting to Sasaki to Miyano? There are many good anime coming out this year. I highly recommend if you keep an eye to that one, Spy x Family, Hell's Paradise (Mappa), Chainsaw Man (Mappa as well). And for future polls some really underrated gems (with some hard shipping content) are K project, Gakuen Babysitters (cutest thing ever), Karneval is pretty good too and not so underrated but would be awesome to see your reaction to is Wotakoi: Love is hard for an otaku I hope some of this recommendations work in case you are doubting what to put on your next polls :)

2022-01-11 17:03:40 +0000 UTCWTH, show? Right? I think the key thing to focus on is that her picture and name were in the paper after that little "chase the suspect into a dark alley" event. At least Cheng didn't run off until after Dong Yi said his confession. I think Lu couldn't hear what she didn't remember hearing just by looking through the picture but even if Cheng wasn't paying attention to what Dong Yi was saying, Lu could hear it in the moment clearly. It seems he has a picture-perfect (and sound) memory, since he also grabbed all that company's info just from Emma glancing at the computer screen in the first story arc. I don't think if they investigated the murderer they would be trying to prevent his past murders (I mean, Cheng probably would try but wouldn't be able to stop it) - they would be finding out who the murderer is so he can be caught in present time. They would stop future murders, not change the ones that already happened. This is going to get very complicated.
