FINALLY, we get some backstory on our boy Mikaela, we meet badass Queen Krul, and also our sour raspberry, Kimizuki, whom I may love -- he's the perfect counter to our lovable idiot boy, Yuu. The gang's all coming together!
So many parallels with the vampires and the Japan Imperial Demon Army, mysterious world-building being set up, and we now know our two main characters are both alive, thriving, and pining for a reunion...now the question is: When's it going to happen, and what will be the result?!

The voice acting for her is honestly what sells me on her, too == that and her annoyance with Ferid, which I share, hahahaha! I agree that I've been pleasantly surprised by some moments in all of this, which is exciting! It has me amped to see what else is going to come up as we move forward! :)

2022-01-24 16:56:00 +0000 UTCI love the voice acting when Krul says "Do you want me to take off your head too?", you can hear the tremble in her voice like she's holding back laughter, it's so great. This show has a lot of really high quality moments with both the animation, directing and voice acting. It's been a while since I've seen it but I'm always pleasantly surprised each time!
