It's so refreshing and wonderful to see Rei developing as a character - to see him emotional and wanting to take on responsibilities and help out the sisters that have helped him!
This episode was so much fun! I am rooting for Rei, Akari, and Hina to be able to pull through this tribulation stronger and in a better place!

Ahh, thank you for the comment and kind words! Season 2 has been SO GOOD but yes, such an emotional ride so far! I really like that note - Akari is often so stoic and the “mom,” that it’s nice to see that she has her own issues as well – and for her to speak up to Rei is so huge! And oh wow, I love that connection to Hayashida talking about the “paying it forward” with relying on one another - and how you describe it as everyone’s “personal storm!” That’s great! I’m excited to see where we go with the Kaminato sisters and Rei into the rest of this season! 😀

I didn't really realize till this episode but Akari hardly ever speaks out about her own personal fears and doubts. It just shows how much she cares for her sisters she doesn't want to burden them with her own problems. When you brought up that Akari feels a special connection to Rei it makes so much sense why Akari really only opens up to Rei. Love how it connects to Hayashida's advice in season 1 where he says you have to be willing to rely on someone if you want someone to rely to you. Such a great look into Akari's personal storm and how she handles it.
