I love this episode set so much as well! I thought that the entire experience with the teacher was beyond precious! It was so well done and LG’s EXPRESSIONS?! Agreed, those moments were so perfect! That stunned face he makes to CX when he finds out all he did for him? Love, love, love! I feel for QL as well – the reveal of HX was SO well done, but dang, I was so nervous for QL this episode set! I agree; I’d been suspicious of HX and the payoff worked out so well and is diabolical! Seeing CX and LG actively deal with someone trying to alter history is crazy! I love these two doing things for each other like with the interview! I agree, there are little elements of this live action series, like the markers, that I could see them incorporating into the donghua! Maybe LG never thought they would be in a position to use the markers, so he didn’t want to bring it up? It definitely makes for a good twist! It’s wild we only have two more episodes! I’ve really enjoyed the Live Action series and especially these last few episode sets! Thank your for the comment and kind words!

1:55 There are the side-story manhua (apparently Mangadex has the translation but I don't know the details) and MVs (no translations), and some of the MVs have featured the new casts for S3. Also you can check out the the S3 trailer on the official Bilibili channel (with dialogue translations only but no background text translations), as someone else has already told you what S3 is without spoiling the detailed plot iirc. The S3 trailer has revealed some stuffs but has not shown the full story, however don't watch the trailer if you have forgotten what you've been told about S3. 😂 1:42:12 The person on the passenger seat is someone who gotten possessed by He Xu but not He Xu himself, unlike Cheng Xiaoshi during this timeline. He exposed his identity (to the audience) through making He Xu's signature move of lifting his glasses on the nasal bridge with his finger.

This episode set is crazy. I love it so much. First of all, all the care that CX put into giving LG time to say goodbye to his teacher is the most precious thing ever, and I love him for it. Yet again, ALL OF LG'S LITTLE EXPRESSIONS SEND ME. They're precious and wonderful. His teary face was a bit much for my heart, just as was his grateful, stunned face at CX's devotion. Poor QL, though. She really did suffer, and is suffering for these two boys. My stomach dropped when she drank that beverage at the bar and then with the guardians of that safe place. It was very unsettling. *And then she had to go and be kidnapped?* Unfair. CX and LG better take her on a nice vacation, or buy her a really nice meal after all the trouble she had to go through because I REFUSE to even consider that something will happen to her. The HX reveal was so good!!!!! I, as well, have been deeply suspicious of HX from the very beginning, and seeing this reveal and the payoff of all the little things that have felt out of place was really nice. Not that I like the way he used CX and concocted this whole sob story, but I do appreciate the way the show sets everything up. At least CX got to feel cool in that job interview, right? And LG being the one that wanted to do something for him, help make him feel good and cool, just makes my heart go soft. Of course, some of that is LG being grateful for CX doing pretty much the same for him, but I also think it's just LG's genuine appreciation for CX and his love. Wondering if the Donghua will use this idea of "markers" is a great question because, honestly, I quite like the idea that you put a safeguard with yourself in case you fail, and the mission is too important. I wonder why LG never mentioned it to CX before; I mean, it seems like the type of thing that you tell your new partner. In any case, it's a clever little thing that makes enough sense that I don't mind it just being mentioned now. The fact that now we are on the homestretch and just have two more episodes left makes me so emotional because I don't want this show to end.
