Just when Natsume is getting comfortable around his friends, a former elementary school student that knew Natsume shows up...and knows he can see yokai!
This episode was SO good for not only placing former "enemies" back together and seeing how they can work together, but helping Natsume realize that despite an ugly past, with some well-placed kindness -- people can change for the better!

Loved the reaction and discussion! The Vash t-shirt re-appears! 🥰 Which was perfect as I watched this right after catching up with the Trigun Maximum reaction. Also, the Trigun links do not end ‘cause we had Hosoya in this! Madara with the martini was hilarious. 😂 The moment with Natsume losing his yokai-sight – how differently it comes across between manga and anime is really interesting: the stillness in the manga with Madara just watching and Madara’s choice in the anime to huff a breath against Natsume’s neck! Such a difference, I love it. Regarding the episode - folks still trying to eat Natsume! These threats need to stop. I have a tough time with Shibata – any time there is any whiff of someone treating Natsume (especially baby!Natsume) badly, that’s it for me! They are written off! 😂 Don’t care about what they seem to acknowledge or whatnot. The hackles are raised and the knife is out. Agree that this was really interesting to follow trying to figure out exactly where the episode was going to go. Looking forward to next week! 💙
