I was SO excited to see this episode but it gave me more than I expected! We got more "gentle parallel world" bonding, Isagi and Hiori strategizing, Kenyu being Aizen Sousuke's protege...but honestly?
REO. REO and Nagi, but REO. I have always loved Reo, his love story with Nagi, but this episode has cemented it! OTP, y'all! LET'S GO!

YES – I was SO hardcore Bachira and Isagi but NOW – Reo and Nagi are such an OTP (and I like Isagi and Rin which is WILD to me compared to S1). But yes, so much fun with this episode! I love that Reo “lets go” and leans into finding and accepting his strength and independence! And he’s fighting for himself! And wants Nagi to WANT him! Yes! I hope that Reo can become as strong as Kise as well! But yes, The LONGING – this episode was such a love letter to them as a couple! But yes, I forgot that was what Nagi called Reo and didn’t call Yukki that! I agree with you about making up with them, but I love that they’re growing and there’s POTENTIAL! I love Isagi’s journey so far and the “gentle parallel world” friendship that they have! But also, SAE! Yes! That DOES seem unfair! But Sae doesn’t seem to be someone that cares! I agree, I just think the idea of Ego playing against all of them is WILD! And as for being Ryusei, that had not crossed my mind in the moment, because I could not imagine them being ABLE to take someone from the other team - so it didn’t even seem a possibility - I’m not sure where someone would get that idea of him of all the other players - especially when Rin is his literal brother, haha, but we’ll see next episode. And him letting go and going all in on getting what he wants! I love it! And yes, Zantetsu let loose and now Reo is as well! And yesss, glad I’m not the only one to think of Miyuki as well with Kenyu! And niiiice about the gyro spin! Let’s imagine they’re cousins and related! And ooohhh, the complement to Nagi’s space theme? I love it! Ooohhh, that is INTERESTING about the rhinoceros beetle! That’s actually kind of cute with Nagi complimenting him about that! 2024-11-07 04:05:05 +0000 UTCI’m a little late with this comment but great reaction and discussion! Love the intro with Isagi, Hiori, and Nanase so much, they’re so precious. Reo finally drank the blue kool-aid! The anime did his chameleon awakening such justice! Love his new mindset and he’s no longer letting his wealthy, assured background kinda hold him back from giving his all to achieve what he truly wants. His joining in on being a soccer idiot like the others in Blue Lock makes me think a little bit of Zantetsu in the movie—Zantetsu told Nagi that he wants to become the best striker and the most respected idiot in the world. I couldn’t stop thinking of Miyuki when I saw Yukimiya with the sports goggles too! Makes them look even more handsome to me. I found a post about Yukki’s gyro shot where they compared it to the gyroball pitch in baseball. And how Yukki’s shot and the gyroball pitch both use the gyro spin, which was popularized by baseball. He truly is Miyuki’s cousin haha. Also, I like how Yukki’s shot feeling heavy and affected by gravity complements Nagi’s space theme. Also found this fun fact: The rhinoceros beetle is the strongest animal on Earth, relative to its body size—they’re able to lift objects over 850 times their own weight. So, Nagi’s animal association for Isagi is lowkey a compliment lol, probably unintentional by Nagi.

The little banter/rivalry between Shindo and Rin is amazingggg. Loving the hair btw!! It’s gorgeous ✨I do like how other fans notice that Rin does give ppl a chance/passes. (Something some players should learn xd 👀) I alr can’t wait for the next episode to drop. Sundays are becoming my new fav day haha

2024-10-28 20:16:15 +0000 UTCWhen I started this show, I was sure I was going to be an Isagi/Bachira fan first and foremost; imagine my surprise when Nagi/Reo have become my true OTP. They're made for each other and this anime knows it. I had so much fun with this episode! Reo learning what his weapon is and leaning into his strengths instead of despairing for what he lacks was super nice. I was so happy when he decided to fight, for himself, yes, but also for Nagi by proving that he can do this, that he wants this as much as the others do. And him being a chameleon reminded me of Kise as well! I can totally see Reo becoming as strong as Kise was, given the time. All the longing moments in this episode had me swooning, I tell you. From Reo deciding that he wants Nagi, and pretty much nothing else; to that tiny, little moment with Nagi almost calling Yukimiya "boss", as he calls Reo, and stopping himself not knowing what to call him and being offered the Yukki. Such delightful little details, I swear. While I was a little sad that Nagi and Reo didn't make up immediately, them given themselves time feels a lot better. They'll grow and be better together for it. Now, on the Isagi front, well, I have to agree that his friendship with Nanase and Hiori is darn adorable. I hope they keep in contact even if the other two have to leave Blue Lock. Sae being offered players that don't really fit into the U-20 category just to so he can be satisfied with his team is so unfair *lol* I mean, this wasn't about to be a super fair game either way, that's not the point of the game, and it's also not the point of the series, but I was still pissed at the offer alone. Now, Ego being the player Sae wants is a thought that had not even crossed my mind, but now I'm very intrigued by it and will be low-key disappointed if it's not him XD I was also thinking it could be Ryusei, but that would be more boring *lol*

He really gave everyone a chance, passing to them and working with their skills, Im sure Rin is the only guy that is nice enough to pass to Igaguri, greatest guy frfr. Also I cant hide it anymore, Rin x Shidou peak ship material
