OH HO HO -- y'all, I was NOT ready for this set of chapters! Shen QingQiu is reunited with a host of friends but no time for that, as war is on the horizon but also...so is...MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING AND...POSSIBLE FLIRTING?!
I had a BLAST reading this set of chapters and all the shenanigans that have ensued -- MXTX really has not let us down with Volume 3 and it's not over yet!

Hahahaha, I definitely think the omegaverse I have seen has made me a little more desensitized than most, but “kittens nursing” has some connotations I just can’t jive with haha! I AM glad we’re at least getting some genuine romance and love between the two of them! And ACTUAL COMMUNICATION. Praise be! The daddy comment, ahahaha! I MEAN. I do love the Peak Lords interacting with SQQ and watching their dynamic and the dialogue bouncing back and forth! LQG and QQQ are just so good and they don’t let SQQ get away with things, which is nice! I love them all! Ahhh, that is a fair point about how he is in private vs. public vs. LBH - it’s just the OPPOSITE…for the most part! There’s still SOME exceptions *glares at end of Volume 3* ANYWAY! LBH definitely was SMOOTH this chapter set! And his “abilities” while balancing on a sword - how nice! MXTX is really good at writing moments like these and doing a full RANGE of what readers would want in their couples, that’s so true! I also LIVE for the SQH and SQQ interactions - they’re both so screwed in this story, but I love the drama between them! Also, Huckleberry was SO trying to be devious! Hahaha! And yes, Ushijima definitely is stoic like Mobei-Jun…Tendou may be a bit more “grounded” than SQH, which is a BIZARRE thing for me to say! Jury might be out on that hahaha! Oohhhh, that makes more sense about QQQ and how she acts with LMY – I can totally see that! Thank you so much for the comment and kind words! This chapter set was a lot of fun! *nervous laugh* MXTX can’t possibly be planning to ruin that for us…could she?

2024-11-07 19:15:21 +0000 UTCWhen you said it wasn't the hairless cats that make the Skinzun creations so horrific I immediately thought, "It's the nipples, isn't it?" 🤣 I think omegaverse has desensitised me to lactating males because it's the hairless part that I find more horrific 😂 Bring on the flirting!!! That whole moment of them teasing one another definitely made me heave a sigh of "Finally!" when I first read it 😆 But I do adore that Shen Qingqiu can only take so much of the soft and mushy stuff. But also, we have *actual* communication between Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe in regards to their feelings 🥺🥳 Save me from my brain! 😂 When you said Shen Qingqiu was giving off the vibe, "I'm not like your Dad, I'm your lover" my brain immediately went: "I'm not your Dad, but I could be your Daddy" 🤦♀ It is fun to see the other Peak Lords interact with Shen Qingqiu and how their approaches to their relationship with him differs. My favourite, after Liu Qingge, would have to be Qi Qingqi for how she doesn't let Shen Qingqiu away with things/doesn't baby him. She's so no-nonsense with how she points out the clear favouritism Shen Qingqiu has for one specific disciple 😆 All I can think when Shen Qingqiu internally complained about the juxtaposition between how Luo Binghe looks and acts before the Cultivators in comparison to how he looked and acted the previous night with just his Shizun, is that Shen Qingqiu is the exact same. He adopted a regal and confident act when he first portrayed Shen Qingqiu, yet internally was freaking out over the smallest of things and cursing out the author continuously 🤣 That "And Shizun is mine" was extremely smooth (and so dang public!!!) of Luo Binghe. Definitely another moment that makes me smile and kick my feet 😂 I love that with his interactions with Shang Qinghua we get to see more of who the true Shen Yuan is. But I do relate a lot to Shang Qinghua when it comes to writing and using certain tropes like tragic backstories 😆 Shen Qingqiu is just too much of a Luo Binghe stan to view Shang Qinghua's comment in a neutral light, in my opinion. "So Luo Binghe didn't get that much time to feel him up" which suggests there was some feeling up done, just not a whole lot 🤭 Whilst flying on a sword...honestly pretty impressive. As you know I do love my smut, but it's the flirty and soft moments between a couple than make me as giddy as a schoolgirl. And Mo Xiang Tong Xiu is a wonder at writing such moments in a way that they interweave with the overarching plot. So I can definitely relate to your anticipation for these sweet moments between Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe. Yup 'service top' is the correct term for what you're thinking of. Definitely agree with you on the Mo Dao Zu Shi dynamic. Yiling Laozu Wei Wuxian with that Lan Wangji definitely felt more of a top, whereas bratty Wei Wuxian at the Cloud Recesses and when he's in Mo Xuanyu's body definitely gives off more bottom energy. I feel he tries to top from the bottom, but Hanguang-Jun just radiates too much top energy for that to ever work for Wei Wuxian 🤣 Huckleberry looking back at you when he's trying to get into the party poppers I can just imagine him thinking, "Quit telling on me to your viewers! They can't see me misbehaving!" 😂 I can definitely see the Mobei-Jun/Ushijima crossover. I think it's because they're both stoic and strong. But I did giggle at the Sha Hualing being Tendou. I took the crossed out daughter part to be that parents tend to be overly protective of their daughters dating, but don't act quite the same if it's their sons (unless they're a Boy Mum 🙄). With how Qi Qingqi is acting it's more like a parent would be with their daughter dating. You could consider this very small thing a little nod to the discrepancy there is with parents acting when their children date.

I definitely had the Kronk voice in my head the entire time these chapters! I wouldn't mind LQG and YGY together - I could totally see the ship! Let me know if you want a link so you can read it after you’re done with the books. (Kronk voice) Oh yeah, it’s all coming together! That’s how these chapters felt as you were reading them :P The LQG and YQY ship actually sounds really sweet! Like a story of two heartbroken people bonding in their shared grief and finding love in each others through it 💕 I’m glad you liked the convo between SQQ and SQH. I always love how their talks kinda tap on the fourth wall, and your discussion about it was fun! Thanks for the video!
