This was such a cute, sweet episode! Is it worthy of a season finale, though? Well.....we can talk in the comments about that, but it at least as me excited to peer through the manga! Let's talk about where Yuu and Nanami are by the end of this episode as we check out the final episode!

I think it's "okay," and you make a good point for the ending - it just didn't have that "ending" feel - if they'd shown them doing the play or getting ready to go on stage and leave us with that final moment and keeping it ambiguous, I could be fine with that - I can see what you mean and that does make sense! I'd be fine with that - the episode just didn't have that "last episode of the season" feel that I would have liked, but I still enjoyed it and will be looking forward to eventually getting to the manga, but I'll have more about that in the December update video!

The play, which is a parallel to Nanami's own story, had an ending just like Nanami had a perceived goal. But now the play doesn't have an ending just like Nanami doesn't have a predetermined goal. Also, the very last scene with Yuu taking Nanami's hand and telling her that they need to change trains is so great because it means that Yuu is going to lead Nanami into a different direction. I love this ending so much because it shows the progression for both Yuu and Nanami.
