THIS, my friends, THIS was the chapter set I needed! SUCH a breath of fresh air, as we get to the back story of Zhuzhi-Lang, a character that I was so sad to lose and wanted more with - - combine that with more into TianLang-Jun and Su Xiyan's relationship, and this chapter set was over FAR too soon!
Give me more, MXTX! This was her writing, back to form! LOVE THIS!

Thank you for the comment and kind words! I really appreciate it!! Yeah, I could read a whole book of some of these side characters, especially LBH’s parents! I get what you mean by history repeating itself - this series does a really good job playing with generational trauma and how parents’ mistakes are sometimes repeated by their children, but I’m glad that SQQ sort of “breaks” the cycle with that! The ZZL and SQQ ship could so be thing in another lifetime, right?! And that crossover sounds so cute - I definitely agree those two are the good boys of the MXTX world! I wish they could interact with more people as well instead of just being in that caretaker role. And please don’t take any stock into what I said about the fan fics – I was upset last week for sure and that was bleeding over into this one. I appreciate the kindness and support! The weeks to come are going to be better and better, I can say that! 😀

I remember one of my big takeaways when I first read this was that father and son share a taste in partner personalities. :P The way their stories mirror each other is really interesting too. I feel like there is something to say there about history repeating itself and being doomed by the narrative, but I’m not quite sure how to articulate that. 🤔 I could def see a ship working between ZZL and SQQ in another life! ^.^ I read a crossover once where ZZL and Wen Ning met and had a cute relationship. They are both such good boys! I always wish they both had more friends and such. Btw, i didn’t mean to sound disparaging towards SVSSS when I wrote the fanfic comment. I just meant that fanfics can be very therapeutic. And that stories like SVSSS, that have really engaging characters and a cool world but could stand to be longer or expand on certain things more, lend themselves particularly well to fanfic because they give writers so much to play with. Well, that and the canon dimension hopping. That adds fuel to the fire too, I think 😁 Thanks for the video! Your discussions are always a lot of fun!
