March Comes in Like a Lion // 3 Gatsu no Lion: Episode 42 FULL LENGTH Reaction!

LINK TO PIP REACTION: https://share.vidyard.com/watch/oaLD1hAZdQUzb2Dk2Mf1aZ?

*STUDY SESSION HEADPHONE WARNINGS* This episode gave me ALL the Rei x Hina moments I could have asked for and then some! As Hina studies for her high school entrance exams and Rei helps!

This episode was so wholesome! This series has that magical "two-minute rule" where just as I was doing good, this series makes you want to bawl in those final minutes! I gotta stay strong, though! We only have two episodes left!

Thank you for watching with me and for all the support!

Seeing Rei grow so much and going back to those earlier scenes, they really hit hard! And then him asking Hina so to make sure she's not doing what he initially did? LOVE. I just love how soft he was in this episode was well! I do wonder too if Hayashida is a little too old for Akari -- maybe he'll just look forward to seeing her and her company if she comes to PTA meetings, haha!! And yessss, I'm more happy that Hina had a great first impression of Rei's school that inspired her to want to attend there! :3 And ugh, Akari doing her best and the grandpa as well? STOP. The emotion was just so good in this! Thank you for the comment and kind words! I can't believe how many happy tears I've shed in this series as well!

Seeing just how much Rei has grown in this episode made my heart so warm. I'm so happy he's in such a better place now. Gosh, going back to the flashback of Rei's family's funeral was such a shock. The last time we saw it was at the beginning of season 1, and so much has changed since then. Rei admitting, for what I think it's the first time, that he wasn't in love with Shogi when he decided that was to be his life from then on so much as that he didn't see any other options at his short age hit me hard; yes, I think Rei loves Shogi now, but admitting that he didn't when he began, I think that's a huge step for him. And then he turns, and asks Hina if she truly likes working in the shop with her grandpa, as if to check that Hina isn't only saying that she likes baking and wants to take the shop once she gets older because she thinks she has to, as he did, but that she actually loves it. That made my heart mush, it was so sweet and caring of him Honestly, Rei was a huge softy this whole episode. Look, I might have unintentionally put the idea of Souya and Akari in your head, which, by the way, I can see the vision; but this episode put Hayashida and Akari in my head XD (though, is he too old for her? I need ages now) I just think that both of them would love taking care of kids together, and they would be quite successful at it as well. YES! Hina met Hayashida, something I've been wanting to happen since the whole bullying thing started, and it was just as wonderful as I hoped it would be. What with Hayashida showing Hina that high school doesn't need to be so scary. Two things that made me cry this episode. First, Akari doing her very best to give her sisters parts of their mom as best she can. I love how she shares not only the things their mom did for her, who was the only one who had the time to spend with her and create these memories, but her own experiences and how their mom was there for her, thus creating the connection for Hina, and I'm sure eventually Momo, to their mom. And then right at the end, with the grandpa reassuring Hina that he will bust his back working as long as that will help Hina be happy, because that's why he works in the end. The love this family has for each other is so wholesome that it never fails to make me love them. Will, there ever be an episode when I don't feel my heart become ten times softer or cry? I don't think so.
