But Mr. White-With-Fan does not seem to be falling for Zhou's beggar act, and there's a mysterious side plot about some icy armor that could grant you a key to invincibility?! Sign me up, series! I'm ready to dive in!

And hahaha, we do love to see an angsty guy sometimes, right? And OMG...the fondling of the nuts...well...I may have to note that for a future intro! I swear I don’t even like beards typically. Also I have a dirty mind I saw the walnuts and I was like “ahh he’s fondling the nuts”.

Constantly when I was younger I was left so disappointed by the changes that were made for an adaptation after having read the book(s) first. Moreso if they made a change that then negatively affected a later plot point brought up. Big thanks to Raky for getting you the files 🥳 One episode is more than enough per reaction. Please don't push yourself to fit in doing more 🙏 I went into this show 100% blind too, immediately after watching The Untamed because it got so highly recommended to me too. It's going to be a fun ride seeing your reaction and theorising 😁 The firing off of information to give us exposition reminds me a lot of the start of Mo Dao Zu Shi with them celebrating the death of Wei Wuxian 🤣 The fight choreography at the beginning immediately suckered me in though. Yeah not even ten minutes in and you've got so much of the double D's: death and drama 😅 I was giggling at all your "He's so flawless!" in regards to Zhou Zishou because of my anticipation of how you'd react to Wen Ke Xing 🤣 He really is a cutie, right? You definitely want the best for Zhou Zishou when you see his pain, and the pain he willingly inflicts on himself because of his guilt over his eighty-one brothers 😭💔 And the only way Zhou Zishou can leave the Window of Heaven is through death or being given all seven nails. Not great options at all 🥺 I also had a moment of "Wait, what's happening??" when Zhou Zishou started stripping off for Prince Jin in such a public setting 😂 But, after ignoring the wounds from the six nails, I could very much appreciate the choice 😆 Glad you thought of Qi Rong too. The Hanging Ghost, with his impish laugh, made me think of him too 😆 And such Hua Cheng vibes with our Chief in red 😍 Gu Xiang is such a sweetie at times 😆 I love her whip work and the colours of her outfit. Such a mean place to end! Romania: I was thinking something sexual with 'glazed'... And now I'm thinking of Heaven's Eye seeing the, ahem, "essence of evil" inside of Xie Lian 🤣 Agreed that it has to be his cultivation that keeps his hair so perfect in the beginning, and to not have hat hair 😂 The sets are ridiculously gorgeous 😍 As is the costuming, like that billowing black cape of Zhou Zishou's! Great first episode reaction and discussion!
