The Land of Waves was not at all time-consuming to reach. As Naruto continued his journey towards the center of the country, he encountered a small town connected to the mainland by a bridge that seemed to be nearing completion. However, Naruto paid it no mind as he headed further down, sensing the fear of several people in that place. A fight was taking place amid a fog on the bridge, but Naruto simply proceeded to where no one seemed to be helping the distressed locals.

Inari looked on with terror, as several men stood before him, staring down at him and other citizens cornered by sword-wielding men working for Gatoh, the man who ruled these lands through industry while enriching himself. The bridge under construction was a problem for him and his industry; after all, it would end his profit from the boats with trade being free for anyone passing by the construction.

He gave an order to attack the town while his hire, Zabuza, was off to assassinate the bridge's builder. Yet, he wanted the man’s family to use them, as a group swiftly invaded the town with the people unable to defend themselves.

They captured Tsunami and restrained her while laughing at the woman fallen on the ground, and her son looked on with lost eyes seeing his mother there captured by those wicked men.

"Look how scared the kid is," one of the men said.

"Haha. Don’t worry, your mom will stay alive, but that doesn’t mean we won’t have our fun with her," another spoke with a sadistic smile as the boy just stared, paralyzed with fear.

"Run away from here, Inari!" Tsunami immediately shouted to her son standing there.

"Mom..." he murmured, as he sought help from other citizens, but everyone averted their eyes from him, no one wanting to face those eight armed people.

"A bunch of cowards," one of the men spat on the ground waiting to see if there was a brave soul to eliminate, but everyone was afraid of them.

"Grab the boy... We won’t waste more time here," one of the men said, as others moved to capture the boy who was paralyzed there.

"Run from here!! Inari, start running!" Tsunami exclaimed trying to escape the grip of the man, but she was too weak to handle it.

The boy was easily caught by the men while being led directly to the others, the men nodding satisfied seeing the boy with a lifeless look.

"This is good... now we just need to find the boss...!" He was about to finish his sentence, but the next moment, an explosion suddenly happened beside them.

"What is this?!" The tidy men quickly turned their bodies with their swords raised trying to understand what was happening.

"An enemy attack with this explosion?!" They began to search for whoever had created it on top of the houses or any corner while the citizens seeing the builder’s family being taken away did nothing, also looked on in fear.

Tsunami was surprised while Inari raised his head for the first time not understanding what was happening.

"So you like to bully villagers?" A voice emerged from within the smoke as the men immediately looked there, wondering who it was.

Naruto emerged from the debris and smoke, displaying his cloak fluttering with his necklace, as he stared directly at the men while on his head, there was a headband from the Mist line, since he was on an official mission.

"A Mist ninja?!" The men exclaimed, stepping back in surprise.

"Don't be so surprised, I'm here to take some runaway ninjas back to the country," Naruto said, as he did not behave like a traditional ninja going on to attack from the front.

"You better not get involved in this, Mist ninja... we are hired by Gatoh! And you can get into a lot of trouble for this!" The tattooed man spoke.

"Such nonsense, I don't care who your boss is. You’ll have the same fate if you get involved in Kiri’s mission," Naruto spoke before smiling at them. "Ah, looks like you’re already involved." He spoke with a twinkle in his eyes and the next moment, disappeared.

No one could see what happened, while Naruto appeared behind all eight men holding a huge golden sword, and at the same time, eight heads were removed from their necks with blood spurting everywhere, Tsunami in the middle of it, screamed running from there grabbing her son who couldn't even react.

"It's clear now..." Naruto spoke and turned his gaze to the woman now stained with blood, clutching her son as she looked horrified by the bodies on the ground. He then looked at the trembling citizens staring at him as if they were next to die.

"You let these two be captured while you watched doing nothing... you really are hostages to your fear..." Naruto mocked. He couldn't expect a group of unarmed men to face a gang, but it was certainly shameful to see everyone just lower their heads pretending not to see.

The people looked at Naruto with fear, but he no longer cared about them. "I'm leaving now, but think about this, it seems someone controls these lands due to your fear of injustice." That was the only thing he said before disappearing and running towards the bridge where a thick fog was enveloping it in the middle, a jutsu, as Naruto realized, and he could easily sense who was inside it. He was surprised to see someone he hadn't seen in years.

Kakashi was having a hard time, bleeding from his chest from a cut his enemy had caused, none other than Zabuza, to protect Sakura, his student, along with the bridge builder. As the leader of Team 6, he had to protect him, but things were almost getting out of control and he needed to act.

Sasuke and Kiba with Akamaru were facing that woman from the Yuki clan, but were having trouble with her; he needed to deal quickly with Zabuza to help them.

He quickly took out a scroll. "Sorry Zabuza... but we're going to end this here," Kakashi announced.

"You speak as if you've already won, Kakashi..." Zabuza spoke from within the fog, mocking him.

"You won't be saying that in the next moment..." Kakashi spoke while taking his blood and was about to apply it to the scroll.

"I found you." A voice suddenly emerged throughout the place, as Kakashi immediately stopped and looked around to see who it was and if he was a new enemy.

Zabuza also immediately searched in the fog he had created as he saw someone walking calmly in the distance with a posture that he controlled the situation, and he immediately frowned.

Even Sasuke, Kiba, and Haku inside the ice mirrors looked surprised as the voice reached them too, while Sakura looked scared along with the builder, Tazuna.

Zabuza, being the only one who could see, realized that the stranger had finally stopped while he held the sword towards him; it was obvious that the stranger was not affected by the fog and knew exactly where he was the entire time with his body turned towards him.

Suddenly an explosion came from the stranger and began to spread with yellow lightning affecting the entire place with strong wind, and the fog began to be pushed back.

As Zabuza was stunned watching his jutsu being undone by something so sudden, Kakashi looked stunned as he saw Zabuza in the middle of the bridge pointing his sword at the person who appeared, while he continued releasing that force with lightning, something he had never witnessed.

The whole place began to clear again as the force of the Conqueror's Haki hit the ice mirrors while Haku could not be more stunned with her own ice beginning to crack; Sasuke was speechless, as he tried to burn it, but it did not work, but suddenly that wind with lightning began to devastate all the ice around him and his companion.

The mist and ice jutsu disappeared, as everyone could see a ninja with the headband from the Mist village looking at them calmly.

"Who is this?!" Sakura asked, not knowing who the blonde similar to the Hokage of their village was.

"You... are...?!" Kakashi was stunned seeing that person there, with the headband from the Mist village, it was no surprise that his teacher had said that perhaps his son should be in the Water Country, so it was no surprise for Kakashi to connect the dots, but stunned that his teacher's son was standing there.

"Who are you?" Zabuza didn't know who this was, but his instincts told him he was very dangerous.

"Zabuza Momochi... I'm here to capture you and take you back to Kiri," Naruto spoke in a calm tone.

"And if I don't want to...?" Zabuza spoke grimly.

"Then I'll have to take you by force," Naruto responded calmly without looking at Kakashi or the others from Konoha.

He saw that Zabuza seemed resolute in facing him, and Naruto accepted his challenge, materializing a sword in his hand, surprising everyone.

Haki immediately emerged from one of the broken ice pieces, leaving the two young ninjas plus the dog aside, and headed towards Zabuza to assist in the fight against whoever this person was.

"The two of you at the same time... so be it," Naruto spoke in a bored tone, making them frown as the ninjas from Konoha merely watched this unexpected turn of events unfold.

Everyone was even more surprised when Naruto glowed and surged forward, appearing behind the two with a sound of plasma. In the next moment, both were cut across the chest as blood spurted, and they fell to the ground defeated.

"What?!" The scream of the Konoha ninjas was heard in unison as everyone looked at this scene in fear and astonishment.

"..." Kakashi was the most affected, after all, even his Sharingan couldn't keep up with Naruto's speed, and he could easily be killed by this speed, one that was comparable even to his teacher and could be even worse with him not needing fuuinjutsu seals to teleport.

Naruto stopped, unconcerned with the stares, and looked at the two fallen on the ground... "Well, I hope you don't die until I get to Kiri," Naruto said and was about to pick them up, but stopped without sheathing his sword, while looking at a crowd coming.

Kakashi couldn't properly react as another group appeared with Sasuke and Kiba with Akamaru joining Sakura and the builder.

Gatoh appeared on the bridge at this moment, bringing more than 200 people. "So these useless ones were defeated..." He couldn't see due to the receding fog from the place, so he didn't see what really happened, but he had a look of disgust seeing those he hired, fallen on the ground. "Useless," he mocked.

"So you are Gatoh... the man who controls these lands through fear?" Naruto asked the next moment.

"Hm? Who are you... Well, it doesn’t matter, you will die too," he spoke confidently, and Naruto raised an eyebrow with the ninjas of Konoha just watching this scene after Kakashi asked not to get involved, he didn’t know if Naruto was ally or enemy.

Naruto sighed at this man and simply pointed the tip of his huge sword at Gatoh and the crowd, while standing over the fallen bodies of Zabuza and Haku.

Gatoh just scoffed at this, but it didn't last long as his gaze turned surprised when the tip of that sword began to glow and everyone saw in the next moment it firing several flashes with the sound of plasma, advancing against the entire crowd.

"This?!" Sakura exclaimed stunned as she saw several lights obscure her vision while various fragments of light advanced against the crowd and in the next moment, heads began to explode.

Kakashi, Sasuke, Kiba, and the builder widened their eyes seeing more than two people lose their heads in less than a second, while Naruto sheathed his blade within the body of light and all the bodies fell dead with blood painting the entire bridge, even Gatoh met his tragic end along with the other companions.

'What kind of jutsu is this?!' Kakashi couldn’t believe what he had just witnessed...

Naruto looked at the two bodies and turned his attention to the ninjas from his former village, as everyone quickly trembled entering a combat stance, with Kakashi wondering if they would be attacked and if they could handle this guy.

But Naruto simply turned his attention back to the bodies on the ground, before grabbing them by the clothes while still bleeding from the shallow cuts he had created and transformed into light, flying into the sky before disappearing, leaving Team 6 from Konoha ever more stunned as there was a crowd of dead bodies being their only company on this bridge.
