Delicious in Dungeon - FULL MENU: Episode 10! GIANT FROG & ONIONS?!

*HEADPHONE WARNINGS*

This week we make a VERY delicious meal with "giant frog" (but not really) that is not only minimal ingredient, but also DELICIOUS! You just have to be ready to fry some food!

There was a lot of trial and error this week, but I did it! Now I'm ready to go slay a dragon! My brother was disturbed for me this week, though...and as someone that's fried a lot of food...I can't blame him!

Whoops, posted comment in wrong place.

David Lynch is an icon and I'm happy he's with his 5 boys, at least. RIP, indeed. That's a great idea about storing the oil after straining it! Maybe I have had the wrong white gravy, but the texture of it just hasn't ever hit with me. But your recipe, though, sounds great! My dad LOVES biscuits and gravy, so I may have to try this recipe for him! <3 YES! It's an R2D2 stackable measuring cup set! He breaks apart into different measurements (1 cup, 1/2 cup, 1/3 cup, 1/4 cup) and has little parts and pieces that are TBS, TSP measurements! He's super cute and I've gotten so much use out of him! :D Thank you for the comment! This meal was definitely worth it! Taking a break from cooking for Episode 11 since there were...bigger "fish" to fry.

We always keep a bottle of cheap red wine to cook with. Yeah frying always takes way more oil than you would think! The other thing about oil is once you use it, you have to strain it and put it in another container. I usually store it in the fridge. I usually get a few frys out of it before I dispose of it. 9:47 is that R2D2? I’m a biscuit and sausage gravy kinda girl! Maybe you haven’t had the proper gravy! 🤔 I can see white gravy with flour and water not being very flavorful. So what I do is start with pork breakfast sausage, a pound or so. Brown in a cast iron skillet with a hunk of butter. When cooked, add flour ( I usually eyeball it, maybe 1/2 a cup? 🤷‍♀️ Make sure the flour is cooked in the drippings of the sausage. It will form a rue. Add milk slowly to the sausage mixture on low heat until gravy is formed. Cook until consistency you like. You can thin with milk, but I like a thick gravy. Then put it on another you like! 🤤 salt and pepper to taste if sausage doesn’t flavor gravy enough. A meat thermometer is absolutely essential! Just wanted to drop this link…. https://youtu.be/LUGaC4s8PVU?si=HMpNzm2TolwEbf4X because RIP David Lynch! I’m still in mourning.
