If Suwabe voices Vein in the Japanese dub then yeah it might be over for me with him 😆 I feel like unlike Sukuna it would be easier to justify me liking him, though I do love Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang so I don't want him hurting either of them in this timeline (see I'm already explaining away his actions because in our current timeline he hasn't actually hurt them yet, bar darting Cheng Xiaoshi unconscious)...

Huckleberry, when he demands attention, he DEMANDS. IT. haha! Hahaha, I can see how the VeiFei shipper in me is buried down inside…I’m just not ready to acknowledge it…although….I’ll save a theory of mine for the Extras video! There is that question of “Is what LG said true or just a convenient half-truth?” I would bet that maybe there was more time spent putting the dots together with CXS’s power, but since it’s activating this soon (sooner than the OG timeline), LG decided to speed run through explanations? That would be a benefit of him “knowing the future” in this sense, as he remembered what he told CXS and how he intially reacted to it, LG could temper things to be “more easily digestible.” I also took CXS character reacting the way he did as either - trying to laugh so he doesn’t cry, or the show missing the mark just a touch with adding the levity. I also wonder if the hand being the wrong one was just an animation error; of all we’ve seen, I think that would make the most sense in this case. This show and giving us all the other ways we say “I love you.” :3 Also the cooooodeeee damnnnn - yeah, the whole situation with Weimin is WILD. It’s funny you say Sukuna, because someone suggested the Japanese dub could have Suwabe voice Vein and now I cannot unsee it! Lu Guang being a liar and hypocrite to CXS to “save him” hurts…a LOT. Especially if CXS ever finds out in Season 3. We’re all gluttons for punishment at this point, indeed. I still do like the idea that there are a few superpower users in this legit school, but I’m curious what we’ll find out in the end! It also makes sense about that just being one of WQ’s other memories in the bathroom. Also, power of “C!” Oooohhh, I forgot that QL had the silver eyes, too! Hmmm….so many questions. Aahahahhaa, I forget Irie had a sou patch…but also…I didn’t trust him at first either! 😛So that’s probably why! I’m so fascinated by all the possibilities with Cheng’s parents! Does LX believe in the milkman theory, too? 😛But yes, Weimin seems like a…Lakan-esque characterization (early season anyway) that has some shady/gray parts to him, but probably isn’t a TOTAL villain like we are led to possibly think? But then, why is LX so against him? Definitely some red flags there and certainly NOT dad of the year. OKAY AND NOW YOU ARE SELLING ME ON VEIFEI WITH THE GIN x MATSUMOTO COMPARISON. NOOOOOOOOOOO hahahahaha…. Thank you for the comment and kind words! I can’t believe this arc is already ending…it’s just CRUEL. But maybe our brains need a break!

Loved Huckleberry just sneakily climb up into view and your determination to ignore him 😂 Your posits for where Xia Fei now lives, in particular "has he moved in with Vein", did set my VeiFei shipper head off into imagination territory 😆 The dropping lore on Lu Guang and then just moving right on should not have been allowed! 😂 Such a tease for all of us wanting to know more about Lu Guang. But the issue is: is this a lie Lu Guang made up to cover him having already experienced this sort of thing in the original timeline, or is it actually how Lu Guang came to be so knowledgeable about his powers? And is this also why he was so knowledgeable about Cheng Xiaoshi's powers, or in the original timeline did the two have to go through this same process for learning what his trigger is and so he's using that knowledge to follow the same path? Considering he specifically mentions his Dad noticing his ability when he was seven I think that is the truth, but the "someone" who told him about the people born with special abilities is somebody else. Keeping their identity unknown though is making me wonder if that someone was linked to the original timeline and happened originally after this point in time for them. Honestly I can understand Cheng Xiaoshi reacting that way about his ability, but at the same time the tone feels a little off for me. Throughout Season 1 and 2 Cheng Xiaoshi was shown to be such an empathetic character, especially for what he experienced in the photos he dived into. This being his response immediately after he's just come out of a photo where he witnessed several bodies, including kids, and his own father feels a tad like they're trying to inject humour. Now I could accept him using humour to keep from having a breakdown over what he saw and experienced, but to me that doesn't fit with the person we've seen Cheng Xiaoshi is. I double checked by going back to Episode 4 because the burn on the hand always niggled at me that there was something wrong. The hand in the photo of the foreigner (and the one Cheng Xiaoshi holds out himself) is the left hand. But when Cheng Xiaoshi tried opening the doors it was the right hand that he used for the door to where his father was, and it was also the right hand that we can see sizzle when he first tries to open the front doors. Don't say "I love you", far more romantic to say "no matter where you go, I will be there". Definitely agree that the other kid has to be Xia Fei, which would in turn explain his reaction to Cheng Xiaoshi asking about Cheng Weimin in Episode 4. Especially after decoding the message below the picture of the Bahati school in the Opening thanks to that person working out the cipher in that scene is a Caesar cipher (with a letter shift of 4) and then made into a Rosicrucian cipher. The message below the picture when decoded reads: there is more than one survivor in this disaster. Agreed that the "Serve me" was very non-descript. Like Vein sir, could I get a contract explicitly setting out what that involves exactly? And for how long? But also that was kinda hot...really feeling more and more like my complicated feelings for Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen 😅 Lu Guang telling Cheng Xiaoshi not to jump to conclusions is definitely cruel to both Cheng Xiaoshi and us the viewers, and this show knows exactly what its doing by being cruel to us like this. And yet we just want more 😆 Are we all gluttons for punishment/masochists when it comes to this show? 🤣 Yeah I'd definitely be down with Bahati being a language school and Cheng Weimin using his cover as a teacher to be able to find any children with untapped abilities and help them like they have an extra-curricular/after school club 😆 And it would make sense to base yourself in what seems to be an international language school like this because at a school like this you're more likely to get a variety of students from all over the world. I think the image of Wang Qing on the ground with the water and mop bucket is one of her memories. Like in Season 1 when Cheng Xiaoshi was in Emma he dreamed of Emma's memory eating spring rolls with her family and then it slowly changed to it being Cheng Xiaoshi at the table and watching his parents walk away. I feel like that moment with Wang Qing was Cheng Xiaoshi experiencing Wang Qing's memories of a previous occasion the girls bullied her, and then thinking of himself being alone at the same time just like Wang Qing. It's a British-held belief too for multiple choice to answer C 😆 The unfortunate part is that in our exams I think I maybe did three exams all eight years I had exams that were multiple choice like this 😭 But yes such a thing to transcend cultures 🤣 Lu Guang though cheated for getting those answers. All he had to do was check to see what Wang Qing answered for each question (when not possessed by Cheng Xiaoshi) instead of actually having to work out all that Maths! There's also one other person who had silver eyes: Qiao Ling at the end of Season 2 when she was seeing with Li Tianxi's ability and discovered the truth of Chen Bin's murder but also the memory Lu Guang had of Cheng Xiaoshi dying in his arms. Same here for Cheng Xiaoshi's cheating method. Definitely not one I'd ever have thought of, but that's potentially because: 1) I only cheated once with an exam and that was by having a chemistry formula I just could not remember wrote on my rubber/eraser in my pencil case; and 2) I honestly wouldn't have trusted the people nearby me to have to correct answer because we had to sit in alphabetical order for exams and the people beside and behind me were considered to be the rowdy type that tended to get the lower end of the grades for our year 😅 Agreed on the soul patch and being unable to trust a character with one. With the exception of Irie from Psycho-Pass, but I do like to pretend his soul patch is a figment of the imagination 😂 For your theorising on Cheng Xiaoshi's Mum and Dad being divorced and if Cheng Xiaoshi knows about it the first thing that popped into my head was: Shao (Cheng Xiaoshi's Mum): Your Dad just went out to buy some milk I agree though, from the moment he smiled as Lu Guang told Cheng Xiaoshi "Don't get caught", and then the whole conversation between Cheng Weimin and Wang Qing I really got the feeling he was completely aware that it wasn't Wang Qing he was talking to. However if he's not aware than that conversation is honestly a pretty crappy one to have with a student because it feels like Cheng Weimin's saying "I can't be a parent to my son, so let me take you under my wing as my surrogate child". Which is doubly unfair to both Wang Qing and Cheng Xiaoshi. And also raised some red flags for me too given Wang Qing's age. I do like the potential Aizen/Liu Xiao and Gin/Vein comparison...but if we follow that storyline then will Vein betray Liu Xiao as Gin did with Aizen for Matsumoto (Matsumoto in this comparison totally being Xia Fei)? 😜 They definitely based the area the hotpot restaurant is at on the real Chinatown in London, just I've never been to that area of London and there be so few people around 😆 Looking forward to next week's reaction and discussion! 😁
