Thank you!! I am a fangirling mess so far with this show so I’m glad that you all are enjoying with me! Thank you! Compared to the Untamed, they are getting away with SO. MUCH. Maybe it’s because WKX is so handsome they let it go! I love the dynamic our “fab four” have in this episode! WKX really is setting up unfair standards for relationships over here! Gong Jun is just GORGEOUS. AND THE FAN WAVING? STAHP. Shen Shen is such an interesting character as well so far! And hahahaha, the one couple IS MatchaBlossom coded! I love their sass and mystery! WKX’s flirting is just off the charts! And yes, allllllll the HC vibes here! But then ZZS with that dang bottle! HOW DARE SIR! I love how blunt and honest Gu Xiang is, even if it is a little insensitive at times, you can tell it’s from a good place of wanting to help the situation. Oh my god, allllll the characters! This series has a lot and Whiteboard-kun is of massive help, haha! There’s definitely going to be a lot of theorizing around them! I do love hot sake on a cold winter day! And yes, it definitely has all the found family motifs! And yes, there is a LOT of political intrigue and groups of characters to keep track of - whiteboard-kun will keep BUSY! I’m excited to see where it all goes!

2025-02-12 02:17:03 +0000 UTCI remember seeing a post one time that said that WWX and WKX had the same flirting philosophy, which is basically to annoy the heck out of the object of their affection. I’d say that’s fairly accurate XD I love the dynamic ZZ and WJX develop right from the beginning, and the developing one between GX and Chengling. It’s almost like a pair of single dads getting into a relationship and the two kids are learning to be siblings with each other. And the plot thickens around the glazed armor! Already so many groups to keep track of, and all the political intrigue that comes with that. I look forward to seeing how our merry band will fit into it all Thanks for the video!

2025-02-10 19:02:00 +0000 UTCOther shows not getting recorded because of Word of Honour seems like a suitable reason 😂 Excited for all the fangirling 🥰 When I first watched this I was *definitely* not ready for the stares and touches 😆😍 Also had me going: "Censors, what censors??" Wen Ke Xing wanting someone to ask about the second half of the nursery rhyme, and then having to get Gu Xiang to play matchmaker for him to continue the conversation 🤣 Shen Shen being impatient to get off the boat makes all the more sense when we see how emotional he gets over his Master and shidis deaths 🥺 Ah my Matchablossom-coloured couple 😆 Romania: I want a guy to watch me like Wen Ke Xing does. Right?? Fiction just giving us higher expectations 🤣 The fangirling over Wen Ke Xing's smile and waving of his fan is highly relatable. Damn Gong Jun for being so beautiful 😆 Tao Hong saying she doesn't care because she's old anyway is such a realistic depiction of an old granny! The laugh I let out at the idea of Wen Ke Xing's boner directing him like a compass towards Zhou Zishou 🤣 Wen Ke Xing's flirting could really be the death of me 😆 He's so shameless. Wen Ke Xing's suggestion of his true face definitely giving such Hua Cheng vibes. Gu Xiang is a tad frank (just like when she was calling out Wen Ke Xing for his discernment of "beauty"), but Zhou Zishou and Wen Ke Xing can't refute what she says. Chengling is grieving and it's hard to eat when you're full of grief. But he does need to eat to get stronger and survive 🥺 They really do throw so many characters at you in one go. And each character has a different outlook on other characters we've seen, and more information to build upon what we already know. "Ah Xu" I believe is one of the most informal ways to speak to Zhou Zishou. Zhou Zishou giving back just as much as Wen Ke Xing gives with the way he took that bottle of alcohol from him 😍 You've definitely got some interesting theories 🤔🤐 I've had various sake, but the warmed sake I had at Tenryuu-ji in Kyoto was definitely one of the nicest. My Dad greatly appreciated it that day because he had a sore throat and the warmth from the alcohol made it easy to drink, and soothed his throat. As for heating alcohol in China I believe there is a link to drinking warm drinks over cold/room temperature ones and traditional beliefs about the health of a body. From what I can remember when I dove into researching traditional Chinese medicine for a FanFic, heat (and therefore warm drinks) are better for the body as they're good for digestion and retaining balance within the body. Blondie's One Way Or Another is such a fitting song for Wen Ke Xing's stares at Zhou Zishou 😂
