We are SO back, y'all! TJ has gifted us with a 10-chapter match between Teito and Ugumori and we're covering the first 5 chapters, and OH, what a match it is already!
I naturally want to root for my OTP and delinquent team Ugumori, but Teito makes a surprisingly great case to root for them - how cruel is TJ going to get with this match?! Let's find out!

Hahaha, I am glad you and Shimoyama, Zero, and the others keep the channel going! And YES, I can’t believe 5 chapters went by SO FAST but so worth it! I have MISSED the artwork and how amazing it looks! Inui DOES look younger! Maybe Mukai got him into a beauty regimine that helped his wrinkles! ;) And the bulk up is really - TJ really excels with those types of shots, honestly! And OH! I DID NOT REMEMBER THAT so I will be looking!! Hmmmm! Maybe he’ll appear in the next few chapters! And thank you! TOJO - my mind went blank there! Mukai’s daily prep definitely makes me appreciate his character more! And yes, he’s not a peacock - honestly, NO ONE can top Mei in that department! I really like how he’s cocky but also has the effort and diligence to back that tongue hanging out up! I can totally see the Umemiya and Sawamura similarities – which makes me SUPER nervous for this game, because we know how TJ rolls in torturing protgaonists! 😛 Yeah, the fact that Umemiya KNOWS he’s hurt - I wonder if that will make a difference? *sweats* I imagine TJ might divert so it’s not a complete parallel to a match we’ve already seen…the question of course is HOW! Mukai throwing at his face, though is WILD! Sawamura would NEVER (intentionally)! I am wondering what TJ is going to do to both of these teams by the end of it - usually when it’s not Seidou playing, I feel TJ can be even more “cruel” than usual! *nervous laugh* STILL, SO HAPPY Daiya is back!! I will continue to live in delusion for the announcement of more side stories or content as well! Thank you so much for the comment!

TJs art is just so calming and so consistent and I missed it so much. You're not the only one who noticed how different Inui looked lol we all were talking about how he looks a little younger now 😂😂 The shot of his swing with the OBVIOUS bulk up is such a good shot. TJ loves those panels from behind with a big swing. ALSO, back in the beginning of act 2, they mentioned that Inui has a little brother on Teitou... so... my eyes are OPEN and LOOKING 👀👀 Also you're thinking about Toujou for who knew Mukai in middle school. Not Shirasu. Toujou and Mukai used to be on rival teams in junior high and used to have pitching battles against eachother. I'm glad we get to see some more of Mukais mentality in this side story. He definitely has a cocky confidence that's reminiscent of Mei but it's nice to see how he's actually NOT a peacock like Mei is. That he just works really hard on his own and doesn't feel the need to announce it to everyone because baseball is all he cares about. Its a nice way to separate Mei from Mukai. Something that i do find very interesting, with me still not knowing how this game ends, is the parallel between Umemiya and Sawamura in this game. Not only just with the way Umemiya is thinking, his inner monologuing, but the way they both came into their summer finals with an arm injury. The difference is that Umemiya came in KNOWING he was injured and is doing what he can to pitch well and strong without doing too much damage, whereas Sawamura had no clue and was just going as hard as he could. It'll be interesting to see if that parallel story really matches up by the end or if it diverts. It's a ton of pressure on Umemiya but he LOOOOOVES it so it's so hard to say what's gonna happen. Will be falter to it or will he push through? So hard to guess right now. Mukai throwing that last pitch right at Umemiyas face is SO BOLD. Although it is a really typical reaction to a ball coming at your head, to swing the bat, it's still so bold cuz those pitches if hit, go FAAAAAR. It was such a message to Umemiya and that really feels like it's gonna come back to bite him in the ass. Daiya is back baby! And my mind is going to continue to convince me that maybe TJ will have a special announcement at end 🥹🥹 just me living in delulu land! Until the next one! 🎉🎉
