"Then I'll be organizing to go to Konoha," Kimimaro commented while standing in front of Naruto and Akame, in Naruto's house.

"Yes... I want you to go and find out everything that could possibly happen in the village. I'm not planning to go there now, but I will be there when the time comes," Naruto responded, picking up some tea and drinking it.

"Yes... I've read about the structure of the exam... This team could easily participate in them with the strength shown," Kimimaro murmured after reading more about the mission, understanding why Naruto was satisfied with the children after the test.

After Kimimaro left, with a conversation about other topics, Akame sat next to Naruto as he continued drinking his tea. "So we're going back to Konoha..." she murmured.

"Yes... it seems the time has finally come for us to return to that village... and to put all my plans into action... just to see if my father will agree to it..." Naruto commented, though not solely depending on his father to do what he planned.

Akame just nodded as they spent the rest of the evening talking about other things. Although Akame didn't talk much, she enjoyed Naruto's company more than anything else while they were there.

The next day, a group of four ninjas was in front of the village, while Iryn Dokugiri, Ikua Terumi, and Haku Yuki were together with Kimimaro, ready to leave the village with backpacks, preparing for the chuunin exam even before doing any previous mission. Kiri was not initially interested in this competition, but due to the information that Jill received, Naruto decided to send a strong team to investigate what would happen in Konoha.

"Amazing, we're finally leaving the village!" Iryn exclaimed excitedly, while Ikua looked on timidly. Haku had a somewhat lost look; after all, she knew she was leaving her master and going to another country, but she maintained a serious look, as Zabuza had asked her to do exactly that.

'Don't fail to beat those brats that you couldn't up on the bridge...' was all he said.

Mei approached the group, along with some of the jonins, to say goodbye at the village's west gate. "I wish you good luck! And don't forget your missions, you must pass all the stages of the exam without being disqualified, understood?" she asked as the three genins nodded.

"Don't worry, Mei-Sama..." Kimimaro spoke.

"Great, inform me about anything at any time it's needed," she requested.

"Yes, now I will be going," Kimimaro spoke as he began to leave with his three students, moving through the forest and out of the country, towards the coast and then the continent.

"Naruto could at least have come to say goodbye," Mei couldn't help but murmur, noticing that the blonde boy was not there and her gaze fell on Ao. "He's not in the village, is he?" she asked.

"No... he left early in the morning and went to the east coast," Ao responded.

"East coast...? So he went to see the bijuu?" she murmured.

"It seems so..." Ao murmured.

As Mei was about to turn back, a group of ninjas appeared in front of her. "Mei-Sama, it's urgent! One of the ninjas came back slightly injured from the northern area!" an Anbu spoke.

"What happened?" Mei asked.

"It's better if you come with us, it's quite significant..." the Anbu emphasized.

"Alright, show me the way!" she requested.

Meanwhile, hundreds of kilometers away, on the coast of the country, Naruto was sitting leaning against a rock, while talking to Sanbi, or rather, Isobu.

"So, you met that arrogant fox... Hahahaha! I mean, it's surprising that your sister is the jinchuuriki of Kurama," Isobu said while speaking to Naruto with his body in the sea water.

"Yes, she was divided into parts with the Reaper's seal, and each of my sisters has a part that is divided into yin and yang," Naruto spoke calmly, knowing the seal after hearing so much about it as his father explained how it worked.

"Haha, I would have liked to see that, Kurama having his part split, he must have become even more grumpy than he used to be," Isobu said and began to laugh.

"I tried talking to her a few times, but she always kicked me out, or my sisters really started to hurt. So, I stopped insisting on it," Naruto spoke, still remembering trying to enter the seal unnoticed with haki.

"Well, she is as moody as you said," Isobu commented.

"So her real name is Kurama. Interesting..." Naruto couldn't help but comment.

"Yes... And Shukaku, who you met in the land of wind, that fool, remains as arrogant as ever. Sometimes he's even worse than Kurama," the bijuu commented.

"Yes, he insists his jinchuuriki call him 'mother,' which is quite weird," Naruto shook his head, remembering that.

"Haha," Sambe began to laugh, finding it amusing to hear these strange things from his siblings.

"Anyway..." Naruto said, letting his gaze drift from the laughing Isobu to the forest, "...it looks like our conversation will be ending soon." Naruto had barely finished speaking when figures emerged from the forest, landing in front of him while dressed in Anbu clothes.

"Naruto-Sama," they greeted him respectfully while looking from Naruto to the enormous beast with some fear by the sea.

"Any problem?" Naruto asked, a bit displeased at being interrupted.

"There was an incident outside the country, requiring your presence, we have a major problem with the Cloud Village," one of them said, and Naruto, hearing this, nodded.

"Well, it looks like I'm heading out now. We'll continue our conversation another time, Isobu..." Naruto said.

"Alright. Goodbye, Naruto," Isobu spoke before turning and returning to the depths of the sea.

"Let's go!" Naruto said as he advanced towards the village, even faster than the others, leaving them behind. He passed through the wall and went directly to the Mizukage's office.

Entering the office, he found the place quite busy, with Mei, Ao, and some Anbu present.

"What's the problem?" He asked, entering through the open window.

"Finally, you've arrived, Naruto..." Mei responded before grabbing a scroll and tossing it to him. "Look at this. We have a rather delicate situation here," she said, while Naruto read the information on the scroll, raising an eyebrow, intrigued by the situation.

"So, it looks like we have some trouble with the Cloud Village," Naruto commented.

"This is a situation we cannot take lightly, so I've called a meeting. I hope you'll attend this time, after all, it depends on your decision too," Mei warned.

Naruto didn't deny, and soon the village advisors began to appear, one by one. Hozuki Seijun was one of those who entered, looking at Naruto with surprise and caution, not expecting him there as usual in meetings, even though the topic was him.

"You're here..." one of the elderly advisors murmured as he approached Naruto, while Naruto stood in a corner with his arms crossed, watching the other men look at Naruto, greeting him, surprised by his presence too.

"Yes..." Naruto spoke and saw two other people he knew entering the room at that moment.

"Naruto..." Utakata greeted him.

"You!" Jill pointed at Naruto while closing her face.

"Well, now with everyone here, let's start the conversation," Mei said, with everyone settling around the room to discuss.

"As you all know, two of our teams were captured by the Cloud Village. They encountered another team from the cloud village on a mission in the region, and both entered into conflict, with only one of our ninjas being able to escape, while the others were captured and seem to be held by the ninjas... The team, besides being elite... also has the woman known as Yugito Nii, the Two-Tails Jinchuuriki... Our ninjas should have had a chance against them..." Mei gave her report while looking for everyone to hear their opinions.

"They attacked our ninjas! You know that what happened cannot be ignored. We must respond," said one of the elders immediately.

"But, as you know, we are recovering from an internal crisis. We are not yet ready to face a war. If a world war happens now, we will be an easy target," spoke another of the advisors, trying to bring reason to the discussion.

"Even so, we cannot let our ninjas be taken like this," said another advisor, in favor of a more aggressive response.

"But what if we suffer even more?" asked another, trying to weigh the situation. "We can't do anything. Unfortunately, we've lost some ninjas, but this is the life of a shinobi; this time we can't risk more lives just to save a few ninjas, not when we might be entering a new war.

"Are you suggesting that we should let them be sacrificed?" questioned another.

"I agree to let them die. But they might have valuable information about us. It would be even worse for Kiri!"

"Some information, just that. Nothing too serious to risk us in a war against another nation in times of peace," another advisor responded.

The discussion continued, with some advisors in favor of retaliation and others not, this was looking more like a power struggle among old men. Naruto remained silent the whole time; he hated politics, but due to his position and goals, he knew he had to make his presence felt at this moment.

"Can you stop arguing like this?" Naruto's voice sounded, making everyone fall silent as they looked in his direction.

"It's really tragic... tragic that something like this happens just when we are interfering in a Leaf mission. But unfortunately, things like this happen. And more than anything, Kiri cannot let our ninjas be held by the enemy and turn our backs on them, this thought of abandoning our comrades for the good of the village almost led us to destruction..." Naruto spoke seriously.

"But, Naruto..." someone murmured, trying to argue.

"I'm not going to say who is to blame for this. It could be our fault, or theirs, but we're not going to leave our ninjas in the hands of the enemy. I myself will lead a mission to rescue them," Naruto spoke.

"I will go with you, Naruto. They have a Jinchuuriki, I can help," Utakata suddenly spoke.

"No, you stay. We need you here to protect the village. Besides, if I'm there, I will handle it myself with Isobu; I want you to keep focusing on the mission in the Leaf village, especially you, Jill. I want you to continue gathering information about Orochimaru," Naruto spoke seriously.

Utakata, understanding the weight of the situation, nodded. "I understand... just stay safe, my friend," he said with a tone of resignation.

"Are you sure about this?" asked Mei to Naruto, as everyone remained silent, not challenging his decision.

Naruto nodded. "Yes, just send a small team with me, and we'll head to the border of the Land of Water and Cloud," said Naruto, remaining steadfast in his official mission.
