These aliens are NOT letting up, but neither are our trio! I'm starting to like Aira more and more, but Momo - my dear - you got some character arcs a-coming and Ken could not be more endearing to me, now!
It's a BRAWL this episode but also such a good blend of humor, societal breaking-down, and intensity! Let's Go, DanDaDan!

Oh wow! The Dada DO look like the Banana aliens! @.@ And Kanegon has the head from the boxer alien! And the Baltan looks like the boxer once he’s “injected” - that is so cool to see the references among them! XD And yes, Ken lays it out on the line that he just likes Momo but Aira’s delulu is much more palatable as a “comedic” thing but maybe not SUPER serious! And of COURSE Aira can accept being part yokai because of her Light Yagami complex! 😛 I like that it’s all in-character and helpful to moving the plot forward! And the confrontation with Ken and Momo was perfect! Hooray for communication! A very sweet moment! But I agree, I’m not here for the aliens – get them out of here, indeed! Thank you for the comment!

And yes, Ken at least gets to communicate and get some “reward” after being nude the whole time. I did like that they talked through things, and lucky for Momo, I think Momo is the one person Ken’s crushing on right now! Thank you for the comment!

And good for Ken, if you have to spend an entire episode in the nude that you at least got to show of some them gains, but poor Aira with the view she got in the "Awesome Zone" she probably knows Ken better than he knows himself. Ken was definitely the most emotionally mature person in this episode but still, a bit dense perhaps, Momo has essentially forbidden him from doing anything "romantic" with other girls (well, and boys presumably?) so shouldn't be to hard to figure things out. Yeah this show is many things bit subtle ain't one of them. :P

2025-03-19 22:45:23 +0000 UTCThis show really knows how to be so funny and fun and touching in ways I was not expecting. Seeing Momo faint every time that someone says Okarun's name gets me every time, lol. One of the things I liked about this episode is that it truly shows that Okarun has no conflict of feelings. Every time he is in his Turbo Granny form, he swoons and is super sweet with Momo, in that depressed way adopts; but he was being colder and more distant with Aira. I think it's a nice touch, and makes the love triangle more palatable, that it truly is just Aira, who is already shown to be a little delusional, the one who has a thing for Okarun. Aira immediately accepting that she is no longer fully human because "she is the chosen one" is hilarious. I was wondering how she would react, considering how fiercily against Momo she is; so seeing her just accepting it because it happen to her is perfectly in-character. Truly, Okarun shows great communication skils in this episode, confronting Momo about her not letting him explain what had happen but being upset about it. It was a super sweet moment. No, yeah, the aliens are creepy as all get out, please someone take them away already. Yeah... from the moment that they got back to the school I, too, realized that all the classmates were going to see them appear, suddendly naked, and was covering my eyes with second hand embarrassment. I would never show my face at school again if that had happened to me, to be honest.
