The battle between Hyakkimaru and Tahomaru reaches a fever pitch, as Dororo and their mother wonder what they can do about this battle and how to save both of their sons...it's wild we only have one episode to go after this!

That is very fair about the animation comment - that said I LOVE Banana Fish and the manga especially! Thank you for the link to Golgo 13! :D "Vintage Jankiness" is honestly such a great genre that deserves more appreciation! <3 It's insane how history repeats itself (and very sad in a sense) so I appreciate you noting how important Hyakkimaru's mother's words are in this! This episode was GREAT, though, and what a way to end off until the finale! That decapitation was BRUTAL! I still can't believe they snuck in those headless flaming horses in the first OP - I finally got my answers! A DIRE HORSE?!? I mean...synthetic species, so why not?! :P And yes, Daigo is just *sings* The wooooorrrrrsssstttt! This final episode will be a long one! :P Just saying! Thank you for the comment and kind words!

2025-04-18 12:53:54 +0000 UTCI love Banana Fish! The manga is great too! The janky animation of Dororo doesn’t bother me at all! I guess once you’ve seen Golgo 13, everything else is pretty solid. Having said that, Golgo 13 is pretty good! I believe it’s on YouTube if you’re interested in vintage jankiness. I really enjoyed this episode a lot! So I haven’t commented too much since we have been busy trying to do what this episode is talking about. Breaking the cycle of blame and taking accountability for how things work in the world is so important! I just wish more people were tuned into that. The dialogue that Hyakimaru’s mother says is spot on! I’d say we are living through a version on that now. Oh man, that decapitation! Brutal! I don’t think anyone in this fight deserved their fate, human, or horse! I agree with your analysis of how it went down. That flaming horse, I always remember the OP in the first core. Daigo is still a piece of crap. The howling colt! Maybe it’s a Dire Horse! 😅 I am so excited for your reaction for the final episode! Awaiting your final analysis!
