A drama within a drama is ACCURATE! So messy! And yeah, I get WKX’s perspective but he’s a bit…extreme hahaha! And Gao Chong I feel bad for as well, which I thought would never happen in this episode! And that makes a lot more sense why WKX shows that side of him, now that he knows he doesn’t need to hold back from ZZS. ZZS tried, I just wish he’d not gotten so stubborn and self-righteous and left WKX rather than try to get to know him more…sigh…at least we’re not even halfway through, yet. But yeah, you can tell he’s frustrated! THANK YOU for not spoiling me and for the comment and kind words! It’s hard to wait week to week with this series!

2025-05-08 13:42:31 +0000 UTCI saw someone describe this ep as watching a drama inside a drama. And they were so right. This is so messy. I don't think everyone there deserves to die of course, and I also started to feel bad for Gao Chong, but hearing them keep arguing made me understand WKX more and more 😭 I think maybe one of the reasons WKX is willing to show more of his murderous side here to ZZS is because of their previous argument. He kinda like "You are dying anyway. What's the point?". At least that's how I read that scene. He still does not show everything of course, and his anger at these "righteous" sects is making him more reckless. Yeah I want to scream at them too. But I appreciate ZZS seeking out WKX to talk to him this time, even if the communication failed in the end, at least I think he tried his best 😅. He is more patient with WKX than I ever thought he could be, knowing his character tbh. And while there is hypocrisy in his judgement of WKX's action, I think it comes more from the point of frustration of not understanding what WKX's motivation is, and fear of the consequences (which ZZS has plenty of experience in). There is so much more I want to say about the people in the hero conference themselves, but that has to wait. Looking forward to the next episode!!

2025-05-07 19:25:34 +0000 UTCI love the scorpion kings blue robes. We’ve seen him before in more menacing black robes, but I get the sense he wears his blue robes when he wants to be more presentable to polite society and company, it makes him look softer.
