WHAT a season finale! The group bands together, despite their "altered" appearance and we get not only Laios backstory but some fun set up for Season 2! It's going to be TORTURE waiting for season 2 but this season ends so well and satisfying, I will be "full" until the next meal we're given with season 2!

Ooohhh, Ranpo’s rival, yes! 😛 I would honestly love to get into Laios’s head and like that we kind of DO in parts of this series, but what an acid trip indeed! I’m so excited for season 2! And yes, I want to stay anime only since we know it’s not going to be a long wait for the second season! That’s awesome about you getting the manga, though! Maybe I can “catch up with it before season 2!” Ooohhh that OP idea would be WILD! We shall have to see, though, eh? AHAHAHAHAHHAA – oh my god, what if scoring a certain number of goals earned you DRAGON MEAT?! You know Sae and Ryusei would at least be so down! That is HILARIOUS! I’m still so amazed by that aspect of this series, considering *Dennis from It’s Always Sunny voice* “The Implication.” Yeah, Laios going Hannibal Lecter was NOT on my season 2 BINGO card but I mean…here we are, eh? I guess we’ll find out in Season 2! Thank you for the comment!

Acid trips have nothing on the inner workings of Laios' mind, working through complex problems like they're nothing! What a fun time this finale and show was! I can't wait for Season 2 to be teased; glad you're staying anime only! I did get the manga myself but will not be reading anything past season 1 until I watch season 2. I've only read a few volumes so far - not even at Kelpie Annie yet - which I think is about which episode really got your interest in the show on a higher level! I also enjoy how all the details aren't pointed out by the show but are there to notice in rewatches. I would love to see the Season 2 OP have a scene of the party from the perspective of outside the cooking pan which our cour 2 OP party finds themselves in. Really go full circle on the dark twisted nature of the cheerful and cute OP! Ok - the idea of restoring Falin by eating the parts of Falin which aren't her - where can we go for help with that? We need people who are able to DEVOUR all that dragon meat... people who are never satiated, devouring experts... who else but team Blue Lock! A Blue Lock x Dungeon Meshi crossover might just be exactly what Falin needs to be restored! 🍴🥩 OMG the Labru ship goes so hard with the comments this discussion!!! That familiar scene confirming Laios' preferences in adult cosplay, who are we to judge, right!? At least Laios finally remembered Kabru's name at the end of this episode, that's at least +10 shipping points! Laios is like the family member who you want to keep your distance from when traveling through the airports because you know they will get flagged at security and have no regards for anything TSA says! Oh Laios, you are truly the best! <3 The English dub, oooh please do try it! I want to tell you how incredible it is, but at the same time your Taurus nature would only repel it, so I'm just happy to hear you're considering checking it out - give it a few episodes if you do because the VAs really put their souls into it for this dub! I really enjoyed this reaction it was a blast to watch, and great discussion to end the season on! 😊

2025-05-09 22:42:55 +0000 UTCI'm anime only, so don't know if things will really play out the way they painted them, but if they do, canibalism aside, the fact that Falin would have to be alive during the process sounds horrifying. And Laios is already merrily planning the menu. we all love him but that's Hannibal Lecter type stuff: 'having a dear friend for dinner with some fava beans and a nice chianti.'
