HOW has it been almost a YEAR since I read volume 4?! UNACCEPTABLE! Todo would be so disappointed in me! And if he's going to become our "Best Friendo," we can't have that!
This volume was wild and I forgot how much fun the Kyoto Sister-Event matches can be! And that cliffhanger?! Volume 6 may have to come sooner than the last volume with one like that...hope you all enjoy!

Yessss, I'm so glad I'm finally getting around to reading it! It's BEEN A WHILE! This one is so good - I honestly can't wait to get into some of the "juicier" volumes, but I'm not sure I'm ready to relive those moments! I really love Nobara and her speech to Momo as well - Akutami does a great job of defining her character, I agree! I love her standing up to Momo's speech in this - and the Todo fantasy world with his new "Best Friendo" - it really just hammered how strange Akutami's humor is, but I love it so much! I definitely need to get back into this series for sure! I've missed it so much!! Thank you for the comment and kind words!

2025-05-29 02:29:12 +0000 UTCOh, new Jujutsu Kaisen manga reaction! This series is so much fun and reading the manga is truly a very enjoyable experience; especially for these early volumes. This one in particular has some of my favorite moments as well. Nobara and Todo steal this volume for me, in very different ways XD Nobara's speech to Momo is one of my favorites, and I think Akutami did really well in setting Nobara, establishing her as a character, for us the audience to be able to believe what she was about to say; yes, we've seen her be very femenine and want to be a model, but we've also seen her not let anyone give her any crap and being able to stand for herself without any issues, so the speech becomes really effective. And Todo is such a fun, weird, and yet serious character that somehow works very well as well. I don't know, this manga is just really fun and I can't wait to see you react to the latter pannels and revisit the different very hype moments that this series has in store.
