A Place Further Than the Universe: Episode 5 FULL LENGTH Reaction!

*FRIENDLY HEADPHONE WARNINGS*

Okay, I'm starting to see the hype for this series as this episode was SO DAMN GOOD! I've been waiting for the bubbling conflict with Megu-chan to finally boil over and as Kimari is gearing up to leave Japan, it finally does, and WOW - what an incredible confrontation, conversation, and relatability of this episode - it was FANTASTIC and I can't wait to talk about it with you all!

I don’t blame anyone for shedding tears - this series got me SO CLOSE! And yes, the way that it realistically handles the challenges of relationships was so well done. And in those formative years, especially, but it still carries to adulthood. I love how the two of them face each other in these moments as well! “The price of growing up” indeed, but this episode’s content NEEDED to happen between them, and I’m glad it did! Thank you for the comment - what a great episode!

The first tough moment of this show, and that’s why I love it so much. Cause even a side character gets a full episode of perfect storytelling, I cry here again, such a masterpiece. It feels so real, it’s never easy to grow up and face the change of any relationship. Especially in that age, sometimes what we could do is hiding our true feelings, saying the opposite mean words. But I’m glad it’s Kimari and Megu here, with how sincere Kimari is and how much Megu cares about Kimari, they could truly face each other before the trip, and I believe that’s their real friendship make them in their own ways. Even though it’s really tough, but that’s the price of growing up.

Previously i mentored this was one of a very few 10/10 shows for me. The hype is real. The time and care they give each episode is top notch. Just as you are starting to think they are forgetting a character, they focus on her. Frankly, I'm still amazed how much they crammed into 13 eps. I love their depiction of real "growing up" ups, downs, exciting times, dreadful events, the fight to remain a child. The sweet scarring pain of finally letting go of your safety nets
