Parenting is NOT easy, y'all, especially if you're two hitmen who have no clue what they're doing! And the tension of making money while also keeping Miri distracted is starting to catch up and Kyu-chan is starting to get suspicious!
This episode was SO TENSE and yet so hilarious and heartwarming as always! More and more people are learning about Miri...I'm not sure how I feel about this and what it means for our hit men partners!

One thing I have loved about this series is how it's gotten both darker AND deeper as we get further into the show. Kyu-chan is fascinating, isn't he? He definitely seems to be putting on a lot of "masks" in this series, but I'll be excited to see what we get as we go further in the series with him. And Rei picking up Miri SO GENTLY was the SWEETEST thing! I absolutely loved it and it speaks SO MUCH for his character in this! I'm so ready to find out more! I didn't see that subtext in what Kyu-chan said about Rei and Kazuki's job but that would make a lot of sense. Rei picking Miri up was so gentle and I wasn't prepared for how sweet it is. I love the last scene. It was so intense. I think Kyu-chan can be really intimidating but he's not a bad guy. Maybe it's just a facade and he is. Guess we gotta find out. Wish you a wonderful day!

I have seen the Instagram account where they're showing images from that place recreations of the items from the episodes -- it's SO cute! Y'all, Rei picking her up so gently SLAYED ME. I was just melting at that point and completely have fallen for Rei! :3 It's so cute how Miri is getting more and more involved and Rei is becoming more of a parent! And yessss, the idea that Miri makes them sleep together when she's having a bad dream is BEYOND precious! Thank you for the kind words and comment!

This takes place in Marinoa City Fukuoka and you can actually google and see some of the places that they visit IRL - which makes sense because Kazuki actually has an official Instagram where he posts pictures after episodes (warning; there are spoilers there) I love the subtle detail of how in each episode before this Miri was just watching Rei play Morio Kart but now she's playing too :,) AND REI PICKING HER UP SO GENTLY... I love this dumb little family unit sm + Miri saying "And it’s toasty warm when we all sleep together!” makes me think that them all sleeping in one bed thing happens occasionally, maybe when she has a nightmare or can't sleep. :,))
