This commentary was great! Some of my favorites not making it through, like Wei WuXian, Haiji, Chuuya…those were hard! I’m glad y’all are okay with Mustang beating Loid – I love Loid, but feel Mustang was definitely the better choice for that round! And Kyooooooo - I love him to PIECES – but if anyone was to beat him, Xie Lian would be the one to do it! <3 MXTX writes some REALLY good husbandos, doesn’t she? I’m so happy that the Wind Master has made it onto this bracket! They are a FORCE to be reckoned with and I wasn’t expecting it but over the moon about it! The Waifus are honestly REALLY competitive in this, which makes me happy we have some awesome female representation in this competition! And Yoruichi repping for the OG Shonen Waifus! Yor and Xie Lian – the nightmare of many a character! But I love it! And yay for the Full Metal characters! OMG…ONE beer and I was in trouble! My friend got me a pack of those for Christmas and I had been saving them, but didn’t think to check the APV before recording and was like, “WOW, this is stronger than I thought.” Famous last words. Glad it all worked out though! I’m excited for the next round!! :D Thanks for the comment!

2023-03-08 20:57:41 +0000 UTCAs much as I love Sasaki he definitely doesn't win in the intelligence department...unless Hirano is standing over him threatening him 😅 Wei Wuxian not going through 😭 But yes his past does make him ever so slightly lower than Tengen. Knocking out Haiji too! Oh that must have been painful. Hua Cheng bringing that bigger *sword* energy to beat Chuuya by being a Supreme Ghost King 🤣🤣🤣 I would say Akihiko was somewhat trustworthy before he changed too with his friendship with Uenoyama. He made Uenoyama come to the realisation of his feelings for Mafuyu, but was just a steady presence there for both boys. Just not so trustworthy with matters of the heart until his change. Yay for Lan Wangji making it through! 🥳 I'd definitely agree that Levi has more chances to prove his intellect than Jiang Cheng. The latter there's more examples of him being swayed by his own emotions in the moment, than smart critical thinking. Mustang beating Loid 🥳 As much as I do love Kyo (he's one of the my adopted anime children) but yes Xie Lian I'm afraid does beat him. Shi Qingxuan!!! The Windmaster definitely ticks all the boxes for the criteria this round. Nobara is great and definitely one of my favourite female MCs in shounen anime. Hawkeye being dependable, first scene that came into my head was her saving Mustang because he's useless when it rains 🤣 Second scene her being Mustang's eyes 🥰🥺 Yoruichi is a tough one to beat 😍 Woohoo for Wen Qing getting through too! I love that it's two awful cooks battling it up against each other with Yor and Xie Lian 😂 My favourite of the Armstrongs making it through again! 🥳 "I feel pretty good..." because you're four sheets to the wind! 🤣 Alcohol definitely helps with the pain for some of these though. Next round will be fun(!)
