It all comes down to this! Which Husbando and Waifu will join Hak and Yona from 2022 into the Husbando and Waifu Hall of Fame and be eliminated from next year's competition? It was definitely a SWEEP this year, but perhaps not the sweep anyone expected? Or...maybe y'all knew all along.

That’s their reward. We’ll create fanart and fanfiction for them it can be whole thing! 😂 anyway congrats Hualian.The couple who basically invented romance. 👏👏👏 Also hey it’s not my problem that the votes came in before Vinland Saga Season 2 came out!! Although that does not excuse Askeladd not being in the husbando bracket and Thorkell not being in the waifu. Quite a shame indeed. Personally I cannot wait to talk to anime onlys about the reasons why Thorfinn is my no.1 husbando. Yes. Yes he beats my OG Mustang, the love of my life Haiji, my favourite sensei Aizawa, he beats #ReigenSweep etc etc. All of you will understand why Thorfinn went from “my boy” to “MA MAN”.

MXTX is just WINNING when it comes to Husbandos (and Waifus apparently)! Totally agree with your comments about Yoruichi, too! XIE LIAN! :) I was very happy he made it to top Waifu -- and HUALIAN BEING A POWER COUPLE THIS YEAR! Now we'll just have couples in the background watching next year's matchup! :) Should be INTERESTING! This was a BLAST to make and a lot of fun to talk about! I'm glad you all enjoyed and humored me through these nervewracking decisions, hahahaha!

Kelsey may hate me for my comments helping you decide on Lan Wangji 😂 Oh wow it's a Mo Xiang Tong Xiu sweep for the Husbandos! 😳 Shi Qingxuan!!! 🥳 So glad one of my favourite side characters in Tian Guan Ci Fu has reached this far in the Waifus. But yay to my number one Waifu (Hawkeye) getting through!!! "[Yoruichi] can transform her expressions from comedic to serious faster than she can turn into a cat" I loved this description. And it's so true. But yay for another of my Waifus getting through! Xie Lian getting through with the Waifus just made me hope that your next criteria would be easier on you choosing otherwise Xie Lian might win both spots for Husbando and Waifu! 😆 Lan Wangji vs. Xie Lian...ouch! All this pain certainly makes up for the pain we endured with the yaoi poll 🤣 I'd definitely agree that Lan Wangji's "growth" is more simply being willing to show who he's actually been the whole time. Also because the viewpoint is mostly from Wei Wuxian and so it's him slowly coming to the realisation Lan Wangji's always loved him and seeing (and understanding) all his micro-expressions. Xie Lian however we definitely see more growth in his character (especially after such a fall with the Fall of Xian Le). Like you definitely can't deny he's grown from the Crown Prince he once was. Hua Cheng's growth from when he was a child really makes you so proud of him. But dang, Hua Cheng vs. Xie Lian?? Do not envy you the task of choosing one over the other. I love Shi Qingxuan but yay for Hawkeye. For what you know of the Wind Master's character Hawkeye definitely has more examples to fit with this criteria. Our little scrap collector who could beating out Yoruichi!!! 😍 It's honestly crazy how similar Xie Lian and Hawkeye are. Love Xie Lian winning even if Hawkeye is my Number 1 Waifu. Hua Cheng "you'll never find someone more sincere than me" just cinches it. Love that last year you ended up with a Yona couple for Husbando and Waifu 2022, and now we've got another couple! Cheers to Hualian! 🥳 This bracket has been so much fun! Can't wait to see next year's.
