That title is a mouthful, isn't it? Despite the long title, this is a short that was released with the third Rebuild movie and focuses on a character I could have NEVER imagined getting an origin story!
Lots of gorgeous visuals, stunning soundtrack moments, and overall NGE vibes that tie in this really intriguing short film that gave me a nice morsel of new Neon Genesis content! I hope you enjoy!

Thank you for the comment! I really did appreciate that Anno and crew gave a little extra motivation and reasoning to why the bridge crew had beef against Shinji, but after that horrifying display...yep, checks out! I do love that Asuka was always wanting him to come back, even if it was to punch him for leaving them in a literal post-apocalyptic environment. And yes! Explanations for anime hair allllll makes sense now! From now on, any time we have crazy anime hair colors, I'll just have to say it's because of the 3rd impact. :) I'm always amazed at the budget that goes into even this little short; it was at least very beautiful to watch and entertaining! :D

I hadn't seen it myself, it was surprisingly good, wish stuff like this had somehow made it into the movies, so we had at least some sort of connection to the new bridge crew, because I'll be honest, it was kind of odd seeing them all hate on Shinji when he came back from that 15 year slumber. Anyway, it's nice to know that canonically 3rd Impact Goo is responsible for anime girl hair colors. like you say, it was always odd that only Rei and Midori had them while everyone else had pretty natural hair colors, but now we know.
