The plot has taken liftoff, folks! And we are introduced with a new character, a new bit of connection to Vash, and a WHOLE LOT OF MYSTERY suddenly thrust in our faces, as Vash proves he may be MUCH more than he seems...if he's even "Human?!"
This episode just upped the ante on my fascination with what's going on, y'all! I can't wait to dive in even deeper, now!

OOhhhh, you're so right about the Elizabeth/Vash and Makima/Denji dynamic indeed! Hahahah, if Vash was the Gun Devil, that'd be the most wild crossover twist, though I would be sad that Vash had changed from his pacifist ways... T-T And oooh, I hadn't thought of it that way, but yeah, knowing that it's at LEAST been 15-20 years since the "July Incident," it WOULD make sense that Meryl is thrown off that this "youth" is supposedly Vash the Stampede! 2023-06-06 13:15:22 +0000 UTCThe fact Elizabeth had Vash wrapped around her little finger reminded me of the Denji/Makima dynamic and that was before she even started calling him 'Pocchi'. Considering how hard he is to be found, his alleged city destroying power and his relationship with guns perhaps Vash is the Gun Devil and Makima has just been looking for him in the wrong show. P.S. Now it finally makes sense why Meryl would have such a hard time accepting Vash was Vash. They were looking for someone that's been causing chaos for at least a good 15 years if not longer, and he doesn't seem to be out of his 20s.
