Bungo Stray Dogs Season 5: Episode 7 FULL LENGTH Reaction!

I don’t even WANT to think of Dazai or Fyodor as vampires, but Chuuya being one HURRRRRTS! GOT CHUUYA AT THE GROCERY STORE?! Hahahahahaha right?! And that hand comment is SO interesting! I’ll have to bring that up in next episode’s intro! I can definitely see Fyodor and Dazai’s quotations relating to them, too! We’ve seen their actions and thoughts definitely embody those quotes. :) They definitely have been things we’ve talked about in this series and make a lot of sense with the characters! Sigma DEFINITELY does not know how dangerous Dazai can be…but then…do any of us, really, at this point? I think we’ve had plenty of hints, but I’m eager to see what the episodes remaining will give us! We’ll see what happens, eh? Thanks for the comment!

Right?! I think that I would like to be Dazai because I'd have the ability, but being Sigma and having Dazai take the lead? I could do that too! ;) Thank you for the comment!

Oh Romania, I don't even want to IMAGINE vampire Dazai, Fyodor, or even Ranpo. I was thinking about it for a while but I know there's a trope out there in zombie culture for movies/literature where certain subgroups are somehow sentient. Now, I'm not sure of how that would go down based on the spectrum of Bram's ability but if you are someone who's unbelievably intelligent, would you also be an intelligent vampire and have the ability to sort of "act on your own" within the parameters of the Vampirism? Like- just imagining Dazai or Fyodor walking around as vampires with a conscience and still being sort of aware of what they're doing is horrifying. Anyway, ugh Chuuya. ☹️ Pretty boy.... I seriously wanna know how he turned, because if I find out he sacrificed himself for someone- I'm done. He's dressed in casual clothes instead of his mafia attire too so they probably got my boy grocery shopping off the clock or sum eidnekjskeke. I can't even begin to fathom how he must feel somewhere in there. He already harbours a God that doesn't give him much leeway but at least with corruption, he could make the decision himself whether he was going to be influenced by it or not. And at least Dazai could shut it down quickly whenever he was there. But with this new essence of vampirism over him, that complete loss of control must be sickening and having to follow orders while watching from inside your own head. I'm surprised Arahabaki itself isn't disturbed by the new force over its host body. And if you remember, Chuuya from the fifteen arc used to keep his hands in his pockets all the time. Some people noted his explanation for that during the fight against Rimbaud was because it helps him stay rooted when he thinks he's gonna lose himself. And how does vampire Chuuya pull up hmm??? With his hands in his pockets, something he hasn't done since he was a wayward teenager, so you know it's serious. People need to understand that this is such a gross situation because Fyodor has stripped away Chuuya's humanity and self-control, which so integral to his character and the entirey of who he is. On top of that, he's using him against the only sees him as himself, as human. I believe Dazai was angrier in the manga when he found out and Bones just dimmed it down but yeah, umm I would be angry too. Obviously Chuuya is a huge and quite possibly the best asset to Fyodor as one of, if not the strongest ability user out there. But I also think it's a power move, because he probably knew choosing Chuuya had the potential to throw Dazai off his game and mess with him psychologically by using someone he no doubt cares for, despite acting like he doesn't. But yeah, it all just sucks! Although, I was doing some reading on the irl authors works and I found some hilariously accurate quotes to fit the scenarios panning out between BSD Fyozai rn. "Whoever doesn't care whether he lives or doesn't live, he himself will be God. And that other God will no longer be." - Fyodor Dostoevsky This one is particularly interesing because it just makes me think of them injecting the lethal poison in their veins and laughing at the death game. Neither of them care if they die or not, but in Fyodor's perspective as "God's holy patriarch," the other God(Demon) who is a threat and who will no longer be is Dazai. "What do you mean by not having faith in human beings? When did you become a Christian anyway? I fail to see, however, that a distrust for human beings should necessarily lead directly to religion. Is it not true that no two human beings understand anything whatsoever about each other?" - Dazai Osamu This one reminded me of Dazai's speech toward Fyodor in their cells when he was praising God and Dazai instead praises the normal humans, the sinners. "Pain and suffering are always inevitable for a large intelligence and a deep heart. The really great men must, I think, have great sadness on earth." - Fyodor Dostoyevsky This one here just makes me really heartbroken, cause it's kinda like a call back to when Ango was talking about the three lonely kings/masterminds in Dead Apple who are too intelligent for their own good and no one else understands them. It's a nice correlation between Dazai and Fyodor right now, who are still so mysterious but essentially isolated with their smarts and carelessness for death. "After being hurt by the world so much, they began to see the demons within humans. So without hiding it through trickery, they worked to express it." - Osamu Dazai Last one. But this is a cool ominous quote that I think fits the dreadful title for the next episode as well; Land Of Inhuman Demons pt1. And how Dazai is being all silly and goofy around Sigma but he is not aware of how truly capable Dazai is of being dangerous. Especially now, like you said, he's a former addict being enabled to use again because of the people he's with and this situation. In summary: EVERYTHING IS SHIT 😤

After seeing the Dance scene I didn't know whether I wanted to be Sigma or Dazai LMAO.
