Hua Cheng and Xie Lian land in the capitol where they find a familiar face that I was NOT EXPECTING! I am flabbergasted, but so happy to see them again! It's been TOO LONG!

Ahhh, thank you! HAHA! There wasn't an image this chapter so I had to do SOMETHING without the manhua chapter! I love Yushi being responsible! I just LOVE her being like that and Yin Yu and Qi Ying! They are so cute! Seriously, He Xuan just "plopping" Shi QingXuan there -- I'm SO happy to see them back! I was SO caught off guard, but in the best way! :) And yes, they've been through the wringer but if feels so good to have them all back together! Thank you for the comments!

I'm curious the policy and procedure differences between Ling Wen and Hua Cheng's personal "security systems?" :P Does HC's come with "Gege Protection?" ;) HAHAHA -- seriously, Jun Wu in daddy mode and Guoshi being mysterious -- and I'm over here just wanting XL to be confident! 2023-10-28 02:35:45 +0000 UTCLove the thumbnail! π Yushi Huang being like the responsible sibling running off to get Dad's help with her going and letting Jun Wu know the situation π€£ I do like that in such a dire situation there aren't any heavenly officials who are suspicious about Hua Cheng's words, and that they all trust he's telling the truth about where the evil beings have been sent. Quan Yizhen not understanding what's going on just makes you want to give him a hug and look after the precious boy π₯Ί But more than happy to leave the job of helping him to Yin Yu...anything for more moments for my ship! π₯° Xie Lian enthralled by listening to Hua Cheng never fails to make me laugh. Not sure it's quite the right time to be blissfully listening to your lover's tales of their followers...π Love that these random Cultivators don't really fear Hua Cheng but they do fear Xie Lian's attempt at making meatballs π€£ It's a great injection of humour at a somewhat tense part without derailing the plot. The first chapter really has you thinking the 'old friend' in Chapters 204 and 205 might be the Guoshi of Xianle (considering Xie Lian brings him up with Jun Wu in Chapter 203) and I feel that helps make it even more of a shock for it to suddenly be Shi Qingxuan who has returned to us...though not quite in the same state as they were before π₯Ί Their story hurts a little considering how much of a fall they've had, but at least He Xuan left them somewhere they knew π€·ββπ

I was so sure that the wind-water-earth trio arc ends and won't be brought up again just like in mdzs after the yi city arc those involved never got mentioned anymore, but here's MXTX going "Surprise!" to everyone. So now basically as the Ling Wen cloud database is no more and the temporarily appointed programmers in heaven aren't doing anything useful, it's up to ghost king HC brought out his personal brand 'butterfly' satellite system to monitor the whereabouts of the resentful ghosts so his gege can do his job without any problems. JW really reminds me of that kind of dad who finally agreed on letting the only daughter going on a date with her boyfriend and still freaked out the moment she send him any normal SMS:"is that bast*rd bullying you?!" JW:"I think your guoshi is trying to wake something inside you." Me:"if this thing being the courage to get out of the closet and kiss a ghost king in front of every co-worker I think the goal is already achieved, and we all appreciate it thank you"
