I LOVE that we got the hints and now are just seeing why we don't mess with our "granny Elf." And I love they acknowledge that while a crazy strong mage, she's not a thief or rogue, which is fun to think about. Those mimics, I tell ya! And yes, SHE IS A TSUNDERE. 2024-04-13 18:20:17 +0000 UTCFrieren is a savage. We might have had those suspicions before but now she is just reveling in it, and she ain't done yet. Also, Frieren might be one of the strongest mages around, but a rogue/thief with amazing stealth capabilities? no, just no. I think Fern is a bit more aware about things then Frieren was back in the Hero Party days, seems to me she might just be a bit tsundere while Frieren was just oblivious. That said, she is a teenager that probably has had very little interaction with people her own age... and i doubt Frieren is a great teacher when it comes to feelings and interpersonal connections, so who knows what's going on in Fern's head at this point in time.

2024-03-03 14:38:48 +0000 UTCRemember when Frieren had a hard time detecting Fern when she was a child (around episode 2)? I love details like that coming back! Lügner couldn't detect Fern until the last moment. In the end when Lügner calls "Frieren the Slayer", he says "Souson no Frieren" the japanese title of the anime. Another translation would also be "Frieren at the Funeral", being at a Funeral (sending Himmel and Heiter off) and bringing demons a Funeral (their death). Graf Granat - Count Garnet (I did forget to do this one last time but besides Graf meaning Count, Granat means Garnet) Enjoyed the reaction and discussion, looking forward to the next episode! ^^
