Third Person POV
Bracca.
...
...
On a distant planet, Bracca, located in the Mid Rim of the galaxy, Bracca is an inhospitable scrapyard planet, this world functioned as a depot for destroyed ships, it was a way to clear all the wreckage created in the Clone Wars to cleanse the affected worlds.
There was one of the lowest jobs of any other profession in the galaxy, that of scrapworkers, people who work in an environment of extreme risk, with possibilities of consuming toxic substances, being crushed by debris in a job that requires a lot of physical strength, it was common for people in this field to lose limbs or die, either from an accident or inhaling some gas from the ships while disassembling their parts.
Going to this planet, there was a young man working among the scrapworkers, removing parts here and there, until a companion came up to him.
"Cal, our sensors have discovered something up there. We should take a look," The one who spoke had a hybrid appearance of an alien with white hair, showing that he is a bit aged.
"Prauf? Are you sure?" Cal asked, trying to remove a radiator from a small old robot.
"Yes, the sensors found something big." He said.
Cal looked at him and nodded, "Okay, I'm on my way, I'll finish this and catch up with you, you can go ahead," Cal spoke while Prauf took the elevator.
After he disassembled the radiator 10 minutes later, he wiped his hands with a cloth and then went to the other elevator, pressing the button. However, the elevator did not respond. “What is this now....” Cal complained while insisting on pressing the button, but the elevator did not respond.
“Did this old can bury itself or something?!” He said frustrated, knowing how old that technology was.
Seeing that he couldn't go that way, he decided to take another shortcut looking up at the entire structure of the Star Destroyer up to the top.
"I have no choice," he commented as he began to climb on his own among the debris of the ship, which was shot down in the old Republic. “I'll take a shortcut...” He murmured as he began to climb.
Passing through wires, giant structures, and climbing metal parts, getting closer to the top, where Prauf was waiting for him, he went through various debris while climbing, making many people and alien beings working look at him, surprised, wondering how he got there. He continued climbing until he reached the extreme tip of the destroyer's wing, where the buried elevator was, and saw that Prauf had already climbed even further, making him start to climb a bit more and find his companion waiting for him.
"Cal! You finally arrived. What happened?" Prauf asked friendly.
"Sorry about that. I had to take another path," he spoke, scratching his head. Then he looked at his companion, who immediately pointed to one side. "Look at that. Amazing, isn't it? Can you believe it?" He said while Cal turned his eyes to a fallen ship on that wing.
Cal was mute at that moment, looking at the fighter that apparently had fallen many years ago, denting the metal of this destroyer. There was a destroyed assistant android robot in its compartment.
"How long has this been here? About 4 years?" Prauf scratched his chin.
"5 years." Cal calmly replied.
"But still, it's amazing. This will give us a month's pay," the alien said, satisfied.
"I guess so," Cal murmured, looking at the Jedi fighter with conflicting feelings. He approached and touched the glass, but there was no one there.
"This is good for you Cal." The man suddenly spoke, making Cal look at him.
"What do you mean?" Cal asked.
"You know, you're a young guy, you won't want to end up like me the rest of your life in this scrap metal, your place is out of here." He spoke.
"..." Cal didn't respond and began to circle the Jedi fighter.
Prauf started to connect a device to an assistant robot to take the fighter to the scrapyard. While Cal was still looking at the emblem engraved on the fighter, the robot finally arrived and made him step back as the ship was sucked up by the robot. He continued watching the fighter leave while his friend approached him, beside.
"Man, this feels like a dream, right? And to think we found a relic from the past of the Jedi Order!" he murmured while Cal remained silent.
When Cal turned to respond to his friend and warn them to descend, something happened at that moment: all the cables holding the wing of the destroyer began to detach, and everything started to shake. His companion got scared, and the wing began to descend from its suspension, causing them to immediately start falling with gravity, being dragged on the metal outwards.
"Hang tight, Prauf!” Cal shouted to his companion, who was further ahead falling. He began to crawl, passing through all obstacles to avoid being crushed. Until he reached the final part and, when his companion had already fallen, he grabbed a hand and a cable and managed to secure himself before falling down and saw his companion also suspended beside.
“That was dangerous...” Prauf commented while holding onto the wires on the side of the wing, being suspended and having only his hands to prevent falling.
"Are you okay?" Cal asked him, looking worried.
"Yes, I'm fine," his friend spoke with a bit of difficulty.
"We better be careful," Cal spoke, looking at the somewhat disastrous situation, looking for a way to descend safely. Then, more fluctuations started happening on the wing, making it sway and his companion lose the wires he was suspended on and began to fall towards the ground at that enormous height.
“Prauf!” Seeing this, Cal shouted to his companion and, seeing him falling, had no choice but to use his hands, while using the Force to make his companion fall onto a platform that was flying nearby, making him hit against the metal but prevented from falling. And Cal soon fell afterwards, landing beside him.
“How are you?” Cal approached.
“I am... just a big pain in the back...” He said with some difficulty.
"Well, we better get out of here...", Cal spoke, trying to avoid anything that just happened.
They continued to leave without saying anything until his companion couldn't stand the silence anymore and spoke, "What was that? How did you do that? Is that like the stories I've heard?" he spoke.
"I don't know what you're talking about," Cal quickly responded.
"But I saw, that is the Force, as everyone says, you are a Je...", he said, but Cal stopped him.
Cal looked at him with a serious tone and spoke, "Forget what you saw, please," he practically begged.
And the alien nodded finally after a sigh. "Sorry, I'll keep quiet," he spoke, as both returned to the first floor of the ship and headed to the train, since their work had already finished for today. They sat in a wagon with a bit of a crowd, while Cal and Prauf remained silent for a while, until the alien began to speak again.
"Cal, you're not safe here," he spoke, already knowing what he had done and what he actually was. Despite being surprised, he still worried about his companion.
"I know. I'll grab my things. There's a guy who owes me a favor, so I'll disappear," Cal spoke while looking around, seeing only the scrapyard workers with no one seeming to be looking at him.
Prauf nodded and kept silent. Seeing this, Cal thought about napping and closed his eyes as he lost consciousness.
He slept, but something happened within him at that exact moment: a manifestation of the Force even more powerful than what had happened before emerged in his mind.
He found himself being filled with strange memories, as if new consciousnesses were merging with him and mixed with his, he obtained the knowledge of the Star Wars universe within a fiction, but not just that. This manifestation came with all the memories and powers of Galen Marek, the Starkiller, a being so powerful that it had not been canonized in Star Wars. After all, what would the story be like having a being that could defeat Darth Vader and the Emperor on the same day, one after the other?
He began to relive all the memories of Galen Marek, whether his training, the fights, and even love. His entire journey began to explode in Cal's mind.
"Cal, open your eyes," An ancient and distorted voice emerged within him to awaken him, as if it were an order from the Force itself. He opened his eyes, and it wasn't just Cal in that look anymore, undergoing a change in his entire being without it being physical, the cautious look he used to have changed to a firm and fierce gaze.
This manifestation of the Force not only alerted the Second Sister and her companion, the Ninth Sister, who were approaching the train at this moment, but all beings sensitive to the Force throughout the universe felt this manifestation.
"What is this?! What does this mean?" An old man sitting in a large chair in front of a window facing space felt that manifestation without knowing what it was or where it came from, making him frown.
Darth Vader on a distant planet searching for remaining Jedi, was walking with a group of clones in a battle against some rebels protecting a Jedi. His gaze suddenly turned to space at that very moment. "What was that...?" He asked in his robotic tone while taking a deep breath.
On an uninhabitable planet, only with forests and swamps all over the globe, a small green being was meditating searching for anything in the Force that could reverse the situation of the galaxy, felt a manifestation of the Force emerging from some corner, so powerful that he had never felt anything like it.
"What does this mean? The Force did something, but I cannot know... Something entered this universe, something that shouldn't be, I know." Yoda spoke opening his eyes without knowing if this was good or bad.
On a desert planet, a middle-aged man, also known as the former General Obi-Wan Kenobi, who was stranded and hiding on Tatooine, taking care of his old apprentice's son, felt a manifestation while tending to his crops in the middle of the desert, making him look up to the sky.
A 5-year-old boy was playing in the yard of a house not too far from there that was also in the middle of the desert, he felt dizzy and fell to the ground. "What is this...?" He asked surprised by that state, unconsciously looking up to the sky as well.
"Luke! Stop playing and get back to your chores!" His uncles yelled at him and he nodded, but not looking up to the sky at that moment.
This continued affecting all sensitive beings. Everyone knew that something had changed. Something had entered the universe, an unprecedented thing, something that could change the fate of the entire galaxy from this moment on.
