Third Person POV
Dursleys' House
...
...
The night calmed down after the mysterious storm that struck Privet Drive, as people began filling the streets that morning, trying to see the damage starting with their own street, which had holes in the asphalt due to the tremendous force of the lightning.
People gathered, discussing the horror they felt last night while trying to protect themselves from the lightning rain. Many lamented as they looked at their own homes with destroyed roofs, knowing it would not be cheap to repair them.
They were already attempting to fix some of the sites, while others began to exit their homes with appliances due to the electrical discharge; they were burned, having been caught in the electric force before the power went out after the explosion of many poles for the rest of the night by the striking lightning.
Besides the residents conversing with one another, there was the power company's personnel trying to repair the damage to the electrical grid and restore power to the street, British police trying to calm the population and provide some assistance, and there was also a reporter at this time, walking down the street speaking into her microphone, while her cameraman followed her.
She began by announcing the strange storm that occurred in this neighborhood yesterday. "The phenomenon is described as a lightning rain, which rarely happens. With no prior forecast from the weather bulletin yesterday, it seems that a strange cloud formed without any explanation right above us, as lightning began to shoot down from it. Our experts describe this as something rare to occur with no one able to predict it with the current technology. The result of this, is this neighborhood we see here, was severely affected, with people suffering many losses." She continued and saw a man coming out of house number 4, carrying an object straight to the street trash.
The reporter saw an opportunity for an interview and approached the man. "Excuse me, citizen, may I know your name and can you describe exactly what happened?" She asked.
Vernon looked calmly at her and replied with a frustrated tone due to the lightning rain. "We were in our bed when suddenly it started raining lightning without any prior warning, and it didn't stop for a while once the first one fell, that was around midnight. One lightning after another hitting even our roof and breaking my favorite radio. My son got scared and my wife desperate, but we managed to keep calm until the storm went away. However, it seemed like the end of the world." He murmured and was not done.
"I swear I'm going to petition against the meteorological company! Are you hearing me!" He said pointing at the camera and withdrew, leaving the reporter a bit surprised.
"Well..." She began awkwardly with the man's attitude. "As you can see, the citizens are not at all happy... Now let's talk to the police for more damage information and continue updating information on the strange phenomenon." She said, changing the subject and going to the police on the other side of the street talking with the residents.
Meanwhile, Vernon returned to his house, frustrated with his loss, he had lost his radio bought a year ago as a gift to himself, which he liked to listen to at work.
He opened the door with the house still without power and sighed; he looked up, despite having a lining in his house, he knew there were damages on his roof from some lightning.
"I'm going to have to fix the roof," he murmured. And finally, he looked down the stairs; he hadn't even mentioned Harry in the report when he described his concerns about the family.
"Or should I put that brat? No, he will only cause more destruction," he commented and went to that door at that moment.
"Boy, wake up, it's time to make coffee! There's no light, but that doesn't matter, you'll do it manually!" he exclaimed and waited, but there was no response from Harry.
"Freak, I'm talking to you, wake up now!" he complained, already frustrated by the recent events, getting even more annoyed seeing that the boy hadn't even answered him.
'This kid, I swear I'm going to break down this door and beat him up!' He thought, seeing that the silence continued, Vernon wanted to take out his frustration on something, and the boy was the best option at the moment.
But suddenly, the boy's voice emerged. "I'll be there soon." The voice came out neither hurried nor fearful as it usually did.
Vernon noticed that it was a voice that didn't seem to be of a scared child, but he let it be. As long as the Boy came out and did his job.
Everything was dark inside that little room under the stairs at that moment, but suddenly, green eyes shone in the darkness as they opened, Harry hadn't slept at all last night even after the lightning storm had disappeared.
He just stayed there, in the dark after the light went away, meditating. After all, there was much for him to organize in his mind during this time. The memories and the feelings he had acquired in his memories that returned after he turned 10 years old were too much for him to simply rest and pretend that none of it existed.
As he closed his eyes once again, thinking about everything he had seen and returned to thinking about during this night, all the classes at Hogwarts, his adventures outside the castle, the teachers, the students, and his old friends, the battles he fought, reviewing how he died buried in the final battle.
However, his past life was not the most thought about by the child, but the fact that he was living as Harry Potter and how he reincarnated again as this boy, a boy living among those who could not stand him, even though they shared his blood. He was treated like trash, an undesirable being in this place.
While his uncles would do all kinds of things to please their biological son, Harry was treated as a freak among these Muggles. He still wondered if he really shared blood with these people, because he had never seen anyone treat a child that way.
'Why do they hate me so much... from what I've noticed, they know a little about the wizarding world, because it's obvious that they are afraid that I might become one...' Harry had this brief thought.
"But why this...?" He couldn't help but ask again, even though he found no answers to his questions. He remembers, even being an orphan in his past life over 100 years ago, since he remembers very well being in the 19th century. His life in an orphanage was much better than his years since he remembered up to 15 years when he was taken to Hogwarts, he had been treated much better than as Harry Potter by these biological uncles.
He had no understanding of anything about who Harry Potter was; it seemed that he came from a family of wizards, according to his aunt, who said he was as much of a freak as her sister, Harry's mother. But it was strange, and even frustrating, to hear that his parents abandoned him, saying they were drunkards and died in a car accident shortly after.
There were many more things that were not explained to him. But now, being a child with the mind of a 15-year-old boy, he could seek better answers to his questions. He still seemed to have power over his old magic, this explains his transition with a lightning storm happening outside the house, but there were more things in this child's body, he could even detect certain types of magic. And one of those magics that he felt at the moment, came from a scar on his forehead. He felt a dark magic coming from that scar, almost as if there was something living inside it, a sort of soul or piece of it. But he couldn't do much about it, he would have to investigate later.
This also raised another question. "What is this?" He said, touching his forehead, feeling the scar that had always accompanied him since he knew himself as Harry Potter. 'How did this scar come about? It was surely made by a wizard, but given how young I remember this scar... It was made when I was a child and why is there a piece of soul in it?!' He murmured internally, still searching for answers that he could not find.
A moment later, he returned to thinking about his uncles, remembering that his Uncle Vernon had knocked on the door not long ago, seeking him out to make absurd demands. A feeling of anger began to emerge from him, recalling how he was treated in this current family; he had held back all night because he had other matters to rethink, but now he lost control for a moment and the entire house began to shake.
"What is this?! What's happening?" Vernon, who was outside, was surprised, trying not to fall as he looked scared at the house while holding onto the first thing he saw. "Is this an earthquake?" Vernon asked.
“AHHH!! Vernon!!” Petunia screamed from upstairs, frightened.
"Mum, I'm scared!" Dudley hugged his mother, trying to stay steady, equally scared.
"Damn, what is this? First a lightning storm, now an earthquake?" Vernon exclaimed, frustrated, not understanding anything about his bad luck, as he watched his wall pictures beginning to fall to the ground and break while the glass spread.
Suddenly, everything returned to normal, with Potter trying to keep control of his fury inside his little room. He opened his eyes again, still shining green in the midst of that darkness, and took a deep breath. He was 10 years old from today and, in one year, he would return to Hogwarts. So he thought it would be better to think about the future and he did not want to miss this chance; after all, for the first time, he had the opportunity to study the early years at the school where he had only entered in the fifth year in his past life and did not even finish it, as he died buried at the end.
Now he had to stay calm and first distance himself from this family. Making a decision, he looked towards the door even in the dark and decided that he would make things very clear to his uncle and aunt at this moment.
He then left the place, with the house quite messy with all kinds of things scattered around; he came out a bit different, after all, he was not even wearing his glasses at that moment. The first thing he noticed was his uncle near him, while holding the stair railing and looking at his broken pictures on the floor with a certain frustration. He turned his attention to Harry, but didn't look properly; otherwise, he would have seen his serious and fierce eyes, different from the boy he knew at that moment.
He growled seeing all the glass shards on the floor. "Kid, I want you to clean this up all before breakfast, and it should be quick, since I don't want my son to be late for school. Understand?" He said, but did not receive any response from Harry.
Seeing this, he turned to the boy, ready to give him a lecture: "You don't me .... Hm!?" He did not finish his sentence, as the boy looked at him in a way that he had never seen before, with a serious tone.
Harry looked at him and then said, "I'm not going to do that." His voice maintained its seriousness.
Even Petunia, at that moment, was craning her neck from the top of the stairs, wondering if she had heard correctly, while Vernon stood open-mouthed. After all, Harry had never acted like this before, and he wanted to have a very serious conversation with his current Muggle relatives.

2024-04-12 23:36:32 +0000 UTCAs for Albus Dumbledore I don’t hate him nor like him , I admit everything he did was to protect the wizard world even after he died , but he still made lot of mistakes and Harry is definitely one of people he wrong the most , Harry should definitely be cautious when dealing with Dumbledore , it’s okay to put some trust in him but not blindly trust him like in original because Dumbledore is not always right
