Look, because of this episode I have Men Without Hats' song "Safety Dance" stuck in my head! But poor Uramichi, he just can't escape the dread of insane outfits, or the stress they're putting on his body!
This episode was full of twists and turns, and not just Uramichi explaining traffic safety, as we find out quite a few at Maman have their eyes on our buff gymnast oniisan!

Oohhhhh, see, I thought that the kid was his -- interesting! I guess I could see that he's trying to give the kids the toy with the "fantasy" that he's his own kid - that would definitely track with his unstable personality. Not going to lie, though, but now I want to see 500 Days of Summer with Kikaku as Joseph Gordon Levitt's character, hahaha!! Thank you for the comment!

2024-08-12 22:24:30 +0000 UTCI don't think the kid was his, I think Kikaku was living his own personal 500 days of Summer Expectations/Reality moment: He wanted to be a musician but instead ended up developing pvc toys, dated a girl that didn't want to marry or have kids only for them to break up and went on to marry and have kids with somebody else so she just didn't want those things with him... I think he went to the studio to see the life that could have been and meet the kid that could have been his.
