It's hard to believe this is the catch-up point with the series, and honestly? I'm not ready to be finished with Uramichi Oniisan! But more on that in the September 2024 Channel Update video - make sure to go check that out if you get a chance!
The gang here also seems bound and determined to not let this feel like a finale...while also feeling like a finale. One thing is certain: We are given at least ONE more persona for Uramichi Omota, that will likely go down in INFAMY! BONJOUR!

Ahh, thank you so much for the comment and kind words! I've really enjoyed this series and am so glad I FINALLY got to sit down and watch it! The genre of "Manga adverts" drive me crazy, haha -- I just wish they'd animate it in full if they were going to, but given that, it does make me feel better that I'm going to do the reviews of the manga starting this week and over the course of the next few Tuesdays! :D But YES, super excited for tomorrow to start a new series and who knows...I might get to invest in that baguette body pillow in the future! ;) Thank you for the comment!

I DO feel bad for Uramichi, though....Bonjour Man is CANON and it only makes me feel for him even more that they put him in those ridiculous outfits! But yeah, I am glad that Uramichi wasn't actually quitting -- now, ONTO THE MANGA! Thank you for the comment!

This has been a really great series to revisit – I’d had no plans to rewatch it, so this was a really fun ride – thank you very much! 🥰 While I would love another season, I would be very surprised if it was ever made, this seems like a pretty normal ‘manga advert’-type season. Looking forward to the manga reviews whenever those come around, and the continuation of Romania’s Choice Fridays. 💙 Also, a baguette body-pillow would work nicely! 😂

2024-08-25 07:47:11 +0000 UTCIdk I personally thought the finale was solid. It does kind of leave a lot to be left to BE continued. This is bittersweet considering we haven’t gotten another season. Any updates would be greatly appreciated and welcomed. I’m happy that this isn’t really “the end”. I’m so excited to hear your thoughts on the manga. I haven’t read it so it’ll be awesome to follow along. What a wonderful journey this has been… maybe not so much for Uramichi 😅

2024-08-24 06:43:40 +0000 UTCThis was… quite the weird finale, to be honest 😅 WhileI enjoyed the joke of the fourth wall breaking a little and them chasing a “finale moment”; or whatever they were doing, the joke got pretty old fast for me XD Poor Uramichi, though; always getting this ridiculous costumes and the worst character the writer can think of. And the worst part is that the ideas aren’t horrible! Only his character is XD No wonder he runs away from the writer now. It’s a good thing, though, that in the end Usahara was wrong, again and Uramichi wasn’t quitting. Now I’m really excited to see what we get with the manga!
