I'm diving into the Manga for Uramichi Oniisan, but before I react to Volumes 3 and 4, which are the content beyond the manga, I want to talk about the contents of Volumes 1 & 2 (or Japanese volumes 1-4), which covers the anime, but there are some surprising changes, additional information, and an extra chapter not adapted that I really love!

Yesss, the "extras" from the author are SO fun! And I hadn't noticed the play on words was for EVERY character - I remember someone noting Iketeru's name was a pun, but seeing they ALL are is hilarious! And I agree, the season finale was my least favorite -- so I'm glad that I went to the manga afterwards, because it is a GAS! And SERIOUSLY, the songs themselves - for the mangaka to legitimately write full length songs like this is such dedication! Regardless of the writer, it definitely adds another layer to the series and its madness! But yessss, next week with Volumes 5-6 will be fun, but honestly? Volumes 7-8 SENT ME! I agree, the way the mangaka uses plays with words is quite funny and it suits this anime/manga very well. Honestly? I'm glad that the last episode is anime only because it has to be my least favorite of the bunch *winces* But it also makes me sad because it most likely means that they will never make a second season. Oh well, we have the manga. The fact that the mangaka actually wrote all these songs is insane. Well, I wonder if they wrote them or got someone else to do that part, but in any case it's still insane that they exist in this format. I love it quite a bit. I can't wait to see what else we get in this manga! Thank you for another amazing reaction and giving me the push to finally watch this show XD
